Wow, poor Gillian. I think Roy truly felt sorry for her and when he said she was a courageous woman I think he totally meant it. Interesting Jesus imagery when Gillian was getting arrested, how they forced onto the floor in a crucifix position. Don't know what that means, but I thought it was fine camerawork from the director.

I took that way sorta, but also how she was being held down by men, maybe such by force the same way the commodore took her. Her whole life is a ball of fukk ups, but for the first time, watching this episode, i actually felt bad for her character. Roy is a true scum bag, i mean the length he went for that case is crazy. I'm willing to bet that he set up that meeting in the diner when old boy asked about that dude she killed.

That's the real life Dr. Narcisse though. The character may be based on Casper Holstein, but he's still a fictional character & so he is expendable. I don't want to see him go either, but it'd be difficult to keep him aboard for another season.

I have a feeling Narcisse sticks around. Hoover is really interested in what Garvey is doing and the mob is about to become really interested in Harlem and he gives the show a door into both of those storylines.

The tension tonight was heavy though. Even the scenes with Chalky and the country boys. I was on the lookout for the double cross.

I can see why Chalky left his family. His wife didn't seem very warm and his kids didn't seem to give a shyt about him. The Daughter chic was exciting and beautiful while his family was on some bourgeois shyt.

I'm kinda torn on daughter maitland. on the show she looks ok sometimes, and sometimes not. I think its cuz of the weird clothes they wear on that show. but in regular clothes she is pretty clean.

Excellent point and this is why fans of Dexter are upset, every show out stepped up their game this year, BE,BB and Homeland are all top notch while that show went in the trash.

she's an untrustworthy bytch. she don't get no points for saving chalky after she went along with his set up. im disgusted at the way some niggs give her passes for her behavior and chalky even worse, but that's another rant.

Excellent point and this is why fans of Dexter are upset, every show out stepped up their game this year, BE,BB and Homeland are all top notch while that show went in the trash.

Honestly I always felt like Dexter was overrated.
