That isn't true at all. The beef with those two started before she ever showed up. The Dr was trying to force Chalky out and take over from the moment they met. He turned Purnsly and started moving heroin in Chalky's turf without getting permission or giving him a cut. Daughter was only a distraction to keep Chalky from figuring this out but once he did and burned that dope at the Dr's play the Dr put the hit out. At that point Chalky might have been dead if not for her. If she wasn't involved the Dr and Purnsly would have found another way to set him up and if it came down to a fight without her stepping in Chalky might have been done.

It's not the simping that's causing his problems, it's disloyal "friends". Dunn was the reason the Dr got involved in his life in the first place but then he turned on him at the first opportunity. Nucky wouldn't trust his judgement that Dunn was working for the Dr when the first attempt was made on his life. Chalky always had to respond to that initial hit, if Nucky had trusted him and helped him eliminate the Dr when he first became a problem none of this would have gotten this far with Masseria involved. Now it's a much bigger problem for both of them because the Dr has more muscle from NY and political backing from the Mayor. Getting rid of him now is more complicated.

Well if he lives which I doubt then chalky dies, noway they both live, not with all the stuff that happens , Nucky could maybe set Chalky up in Florida but I don't think joe and Dr would let that slide .

This jimmy stuff I don't get, you really think he was boss material or just hired help? I hated him because he was so weak as a man. Okay so what he had a troubled childhood but his father was rich and he could have been anything he wanted, he was in Harvard but he runs away and comes back as a flunkie , that's all he was nothing more than cannon fodder for the 20's . He could never be a Nucky or Capone . He didn't have AR vision or diplomatic skills of Meyer or Lucky. I am glad he died I was he would died in season 1 . Guys on this site thinking him and Harrow could run a crime group foh.i miss jimmy. imagine jimmy and harrow still bustin their guns together
