hes probly the least creative most unoriginal artist out there. i think the majority of music fans that have some knowledge would agree

but it doesnt matter cus he could tell his fans theyre dumb and they only love him more haha
:what:

Tell that to the magazines, other rappers, grammy boards, streets, fukk it tell that to Rakim :huhldup:

That picture was kinda famous amongst academics in the UK, it's not a secret photo. It's like saying Nas is unoriginal for jacking the last supper or tutankhamun.
Its not Jays fault that certain cats were clueless about the origins of the cover, if you actually were interested in the album cover you should've known this by now.

really, so you just said that picture was as famous as the last supper? smh. "kinda famous" among a specific group thats not even where youre mainly selling your music is a lot different than people recognizing something WORLDWIDE

theres no argument here and the fact that Jay-Z fans are trying to counterpoint blatant biting is laughable

How come when Jay-Z imitates a cover it's such a huge deal but people do it all the time and it goes over your head?. What if he wanted people to say " Ah its a play on (still dont know where the original photo is from). Jay-Z never really bites an artist but its too obvious. I mean he takes the lyrics and replicates it. Its homage. Curren$y always does it and I never say he bites.

jay has mastered the 7th LAW.. in the 48 LAWS OF POWER

LAW7: GET OTHERS TO DO THE WORK FOR YOU, BUT ALWAYS TAKE THE CREDIT
The book states that you should know how to take advantage of the people around you because this would guarantee you “godlike aura of efficiency and speed”.

Doing everything on one’s own would only get oneself exhausted and impoverished. You should not try to excel in all aspects of your work / task on your own but assign different people who are expert in the parts that you are not talented / knowledgeable of. Pushing yourself to excel in all aspects will only stress you out and will not benefit you. You should never be naïve and try to do everything on your own because there are people who are waiting to take credit of other people, and you are not excused in being their target.

In relation to this law, the story about Nikola Tesla, a Serbian scientist is discussed. Tesla was a brilliant inventor but he is not well-known because he was targeted by other inventors and his inventions were used by them. In other words, although Tesla was the one who invented a lot of things, others got the credits because Tesla was too naïve.

Once again, the essence of this law is that “you should learn to get others to do the work for you while you take the credit, and you appear to be of godlike strength and power”. However, this is just a helping strategy. This law should not be considered as the main basis. Not doing your work and just looking for chances wherein you can take the credits of others would not benefit you at all. This might even lead to total failure.

kanye has this law on smash too..

tesla = biggie
edison = jay

How could you guys not mention the forefather to this law?-:takedat:

It's still not a secret, and media made it known back then about the origins of the photo. I'm not saying that it's as famous as the last supper or tutankhamun, but it's as "unoriginal" or even less unoriginal since remaking the most famous pictures doesn't take a lot of thought. Finding a great photo and referencing it to rap takes some effort.
