Tracklist for the album, imo,

'A Dream'
'Hovi Baby'
'Guns And Roses'
'Bonnie & Cylde 02' (had to be the single)
Excuse Me Miss
The Watcher 2
'All Around The World'
Diamond Is Forever
U Don't Know Remix
Meet The Parents
Somehow Someway

Throw BP2 as a bonus. And 'Show You How', to make it 13. I see where they ran into problems, with the contrast in content, but there is too much filler on both discs, to justify a double. 'A Ballad For a A Fallen Solider' is one of the worst tracks, ever, a friend and I were laughing about listening to that shyt back in 2002 the other day....slow beat comes on, 'Ima show you how a hustlers life...is like a soldiers life'....ahhh man then that hook, fukking Pharrell....Nah, man, that was 'Kingdom Come' bullshyt, there.

There's fire on there but that shyt had no business being 2 disc. What's crazy is that he released 2.1 and still managed to fukk up the tracklist.

Right. Although the double disc was too much and had lots of filler.. I'm kinda glad he did it cause if it was one disc it would've left off a lot of the good tracks.

bp2 is a vastly underrated CD, i liked that he fukked around and tried 100 different ideas all pretty different from blueprint 1

he hit some, he missed quite a bit but i feel like we got an unfiltered recording process there. i know theres some songs on there that i love that jay would pass over if he was tryna trim it down. and :pacspit: if he ever had to apologize for this album, i hate when rappers do that and its completely unwarranted because of some internet backlash

EDIT: literally every hip hop double album i've ever heard has been all over the place in terms of cohesiveness and "sounds". i love when rappers try it because you get some cool out of the box shyt

Blueprint 1 >>> :trash: >>>>> :trash:

The other 2 albums are completely irrelevant and dont even need to be rated.

I agree. Take a song like "As One" for example. Something like that usually wouldn't make the album, but I always liked the song.. sample was cool and was a different kind of posse cut.

BP3 felt so hollow to me .

It was like his transition from rapper to commodity on record.

You can tell he was rapping on the strength of his brand and not the strength of his artistry.

BP2 on the other hand , had some legitimately good tracks. Meet the Parents is very powerful.

 but if youre not trolling id like to hear why you think so

The only bad song is the one with Sean Paul

How is an artist giving you more music a complaint?

BP2 would have been better if he didn't try to cater to so many lanes having to fill two discs. If it was chopped down to the 12 best songs it would have been hailed as a classic just like BP1. Like dude said lyrically he was on his A game for much of this album, that's why i can't say it was weak or not a decent album. Hova just had to many guests and if felt cluttered as a result.
