The argument was never most influential, all I said was don't deny the things that we actually did contribute to the culture. This thread never had to get derailed this far... All I want for Christmas is for you to go play in traffic :myman: Merry Christmas fam

Dumbass admits that they don't know shyt about the bay, only reads about it online or hears about it second-hand, then has the bytch ass audacity to try and speak on it. :stopitslime:

I'm not gonna say they punks are anything but compared to South Central crips they were considered not to be taken serious.
They almost killed Terrance Howard in the 80s cause he was from a rival gang they was beefing with. He was given a pass for warning 1 of them from being killed earlier.
I grew up in geer gang hood. and I'll vouch west la known as the pretty boy hustler hood area. the bloods in the region are the killers.

I moved to the valley, whitest part aka sherman oaks right when highschool started. This was mid 90s (ps. Watch the movie mid 90s for proof as I lived that life for 2-3 yrs), everyone wore vans even the blacks skaters too. Val surf was the skateboard shop mecca. Only rival being Melrose or Fairfax a stone throw away. We were odd future 10 yrs before odd future. These are the people wearing vans. NO ONE in compton,watts, south central even westside were wearing vans.

90s I was a teen with a car and in them streets from the burbs to the hood every single day. You could catch me on Melrose to ladera to 56th and Avalon to city walk. I had hood friends and skater friends because my mom moved me out and so I'd flip back and forth

I graduated from La Cienga elementary back in 98. I use to stay off redondo in between Adams & exposition. The west Blvds hated them too back in the 2000s. I remember when 1 of them killed chief benard parks niece at the popeyes when trying to kill a blood in the car with her

come on man yall falling for this plant is comical...he's too polished to make me believe he's putting in work in the streets...call me gay but I agree with the posters who already said he's easy on th eyes :yeshrug:this is the main factor in his appeal i.e. people preferring that drake performs quentin miller's raps ...dude looks like a fcking macys model with his young nkka outfits that are clearly put together by a stylist :comeon:...look at his perfect teeth and his cute lil kelly oubre jr. hair and tattoos :comeon:...he's appealing to the ladies while pushing the gang narrative :comeon: of course this is a recipe for success in these times...he's manufactured :umad:
:dame::why::dame:

He not light skinned he the same color as me and pharrell. just medium brown.

And he a westside crip. westside is the pretty boy hustler side of LA

I will admit that our side has an unusual amount of light skinned and hazel eyed black folks. 1/4 of my elementary (baldwin) were light brites with hazel eyes. Our side of the city were known for having the pretty boujie females. and not the light brites but the caramel browns with slim thick body and well done hair. I grew up around females that looked like Jada growing up :noah:

I have a theory on why black folks in this part of the city look diff but that's for another thread.

Hahaha I used to walk to catch the bus to palms middle school every day in front of la cienga. Used to be fights everyday loo. I lived on jefferson and orange drive. basically across the street from that pop eyes. I'm a little older than you tho. I left around summer of 95. My mom didn't want me going to dorsey or university high. She saw me kicking it with the wrong crowd and walking to the jungles too much. She got us up out of there. Probably saved my life come to think of it. But around 98 -99 I got a car and would still come back and chill with the homies and eat fried fish off rodeo and labrea. Kings fish.

PS. Louisiana chicken :noah:
