Hahaha I used to walk to catch the bus to palms middle school every day in front of la cienga. Used to be fights everyday loo. I lived on jefferson and orange drive. basically across the street from that pop eyes. I'm a little older than you tho. I left around summer of 95. My mom didn't want me going to dorsey or university high. She saw me kicking it with the wrong crowd and walking to the jungles too much. She got us up out of there. Probably saved my life come to think of it. But around 98 -99 I got a car and would still come back and chill with the homies and eat fried fish off rodeo and labrea. Kings fish.

I will admit that our side has an unusual amount of light skinned and hazel eyed black folks. 1/4 of my elementary (baldwin) were light brites with hazel eyes. Our side of the city were known for having the pretty boujie females. and not the light brites but the caramel browns with slim thick body and well done hair. I grew up around females that looked like Jada growing up
