I just watched this, and I give it a 7/10. It was alright.

George Lopez was cracking me up. He played his role well.

Xolo did decent as Jaime


The actress who played Jaime's mom (Elpidia Carrillo) is the same woman from the first Predator film. She hasn't aged well at all


Susan Sarandon phoned in her role

The actress that plays Jenny (Bruna Marquezine) is fine as hell. The ending scene with her in the motorcycle outfit and then that walk back. Wow

This is the first superhero movie in a long time that I just never watched or cared to watch, probably the first since New Mutants and the last FF4 movie.

This is the first superhero movie in a long time that I just never watched or cared to watch, probably the first since New Mutants and the last FF4 movie.

It’s straight, you can tell it was meant to be straight to streaming at some points. I would have preferred they used billy west as the scarab voice

Went ahead and rented this last night and it was about what I expected. I liked everything about the scarab and the way it integrated with Jaimie down to the fight mechanics and the CGI looked better than I expected. The family aspect of it was a little annoying and them doing a family team up towards the end was a bit goofy but it was what it was. I actually liked it.

Blue Beetle wack as a fighter tho....yo suit does all the thinking and moves for you but you still wack....Spiderman and Iron Man way better!

The Latino villain had a good back story reveal tho.
