When the trailer first dropped, I had zero intention of watching this film; it looked lame to me but I saw it anyway and ended up enjoying it
Seeing all the low ticket sales is a major bummer though because this movie deserves to do at least decent numbers. I hope this movie can at least break even. I don't understand the lack of support thus far, maybe this movies international numbers will boost it up. When I went and saw it last night the theater was like 90 percent full on a Friday night. The Hispanic demographic, at least where I live, came out and supported the film

There were a lot of jokes and references I didn't understand due to being Black but the Mexicans in crowd were cracking up for a good portion of the movie.

I'm not the biggest Blue Beetle comic fan but I've read a good chunk of his comics and this movie had me scratching my head with some of the changes they made. Jamie's best friends, Brenda and Paco are completely missing from the film. They were major pieces to his story in the comics. Jamie's love interest and the main villain of the film are both original characters which is odd when they could've just used established characters from the comics. La Dama (Brenda's aunt) would've been a better villain than Victoria Kord IMO.

The inclusion of the OMAC's was odd to me and they didn't look anything like the OMAC's from the comics. Blood Beetle could've been Jaime's enemy instead of Ignacio but maybe they'll save him for another film if there is one.

Had a lot of fun with this. The practical suit looked incredible. Gorgeous. Makes me mad MCU did that CGI suit shyt with Spider-Man and iron man.

Bruna is sexy AF.

I liked the small stakes. I hope it catches on at the box office since there's absolutely nothing to see for the next few month. My theater gave out free T-shirts and pins.

It’s in the B tier for origin movies, I enjoyed the fight scenes, they did a good job showing respect to the hispanic communities and how white people don’t respect their culture and names enough to pronounce them correctly.

This was pretty good! It's cute and fun! It reminded me of Ben 10! I'd watch a sequel! La Becky did her thing!

One of my favorite things is how this film don't shy away at ALL about shytting on cacs. To be honest, it does more to show how cacs ain't shyt than any of the Black Panther movies.

It’s a decently entertaining movie. Checks off all the typical superhero origin cliches but the Reyes family were a fun and refreshing new wrinkle. Hopefully Xolo returns as Jaime/BB in James Gunn’s new DC universe.

This is way better than the flops you call "Ant-Man" I just thought of something.... the two best comic book movies of the year are gonna end up being Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Blue Beetle.
