I’ll still see it. My nephew is with me next week, already taking him to FanExpo the Saturday so I’ll take him to see this on the Sunday.

Talking bout McGuyver? George lopez character represents a lot of people who are very technical sound and intuitive but don’t have the real opportunity to showcase their skills

Probably more once you see black Adam, Shazam 2 and the flash you aren’t breaking down the door to see “blue beetle”

One of my favorite things is how this film don't shy away at ALL about shytting on cacs. To be honest, it does more to show how cacs ain't shyt than any of the Black Panther movies.

Movie is fine but it doesn't do anything we haven't seen before. It would have been better on Max as a TV show.
Gunn is just saying he's going to use this Blue Beetle in the future but realistically where does he fit in the next five years (Gunn's Contract)?
He's introducing dozens of "new" characters in his version of the universe but he's going to find 5 minutes to bring in this guy from the old regime and a movie that no one cares about?
Do you stick him in one of the Waller/Peacemaker or Lantern shows? If so we haven't heard about any production start dates even before the strikes for either of those shows.
Xolo with be in his 30s before Gunn remembers what he said about using him in the future.

The real problem is that the Jaime Reyes character is still relatively new by comic books standards and doesn't have the rogue gallery or stories to help push it forward. It also doesn't help that his closest friend in the comics doesn't exist yet in this movie universe.

Ted Kord and Dan Garrett are no-go either as they remind people too much of Antman eventhough they were created first.
