Elemental started off disastrous (29m opening) but had a great RT score and an A cinemascore... it went on to gross 444m world wide, despite looking like a bomb.

Budget was only $120M but that's probably still a bit high considering they didn't do too much to promote this. Looks like maybe a $25-$30M opening domestic. We'll see what the legs are.

I believe James Gunn said somewhere that he wants to use the character and actor in his universe. He should. The old regime did a nice job with this.

We need billy west as the voice of the scarab, gives the suit some personality

Im near the end after their fight it’s not that simple, it’s more like the taskmaster situation from black widow. They become similar because the villains achieve their goal. Their fight is what iroman one fight should have been if tony wasn’t handicapped.

It’s in the B tier for origin movies, I enjoyed the fight scenes, they did a good job showing respect to the hispanic communities and how white people don’t respect their culture and names enough to pronounce them correctly.

Id give it 7/7.5 as well
