Agreed. The Jaime we saw in young justice half a decade ago is as perfect of a cinematic superhero as you can get. Pretty much Ironman + Homecoming + Coco, with space aliens. It has potential to crush.

Really a no brainer, and i was somewhat surprised this wasn't announced back when announcing black, brown, and female heroes first became the wave by these slow backwards ass hollywood execs.

This exactly. A Jamie Blue Beetle is clueless kid with powers mixed in with bad ass alien technology. The only how they could fukk this up is have a script that revolves around fight scenes or by making this movie dark and gritty
