I made it through central already but the game isn't difficult as much as it's cheap. The core gameplay itself is old. The combat specifically... I'm having fun with the game although I feel the developers are getting praise for just having the balls to say f the casual gamer.... But forgot to come up with something new in regards to gameplay. I can dig it... But damn the game isn't that good lol. Like IWTBG... But yall don't hear me though

Just started playing and got dam this was harder than I thought. I'm used to just running up and chopping ppl down but with bloodborne you gotta be patient and stick and move. I'm starting to regret picking the axe as my first weapon

Its game of the year status. Sorry. I dont need to disagree with comments that are blasphemous. Youre not really an action gamer like that. Ur kinda casual. You just now getting into Bloodborne? You on the bandwagon and out of your element. This is new terrain for you. You dont Typically elite game like that.

Beat the game and got my DLC restarted

Came back and beat Ludwig on my first try

Can't front. I got rid of all that insight cause i couldn't be bothered with that Witch boss It was a casual lazy move but it worked like a charm. Probably could have done it with insight but i was lazy.

One of the best weapons in the game. My favorite weapon outside of Ludwigs Blade

The axe has crap scaling, and its untricked r1 is very slow. The best weapons are the chikage, blades of mercy, burial blade and threaded cane. The BOM puts out the best damage per second, and the chikage does great dps as well. But with the chikage you can max out bloodtinge, and pair it with the most overpowered gun in the game --Evelyn. With a maxed out evelyn+35% gem+bone marrow, you can easily put 1000+ damage per bullet on most bossess. Pvp 500+ damage on enemy hunters. Without the ash, the evelyn still puts out 300+ reliably on most enemies. Also, The visceral attack scales with skill, so all the skill based weapons based weapons have a distinct advantage. The threaded has the best range and use the least stamina. The retracted cain's R1 is really fast, and with max gems and 50 skl it comse really close to the BOM in damage output, but it also has the trick elongated version that can really control large mobs, which is very helpful chalice dungeons

I like smashing the ops with blades. They can stun or knock down. Great interrupting capabilities against most enemies. Especially ludwig. Axe is great for crumpling enemies. Mastering r2 attacks and knowing who you can recklessly swing one and interrupt is great. Combined with elite stamina it's unfukkwittable.

I agree. Axe for me with Whirligig Saw and Saw Spear as secondaries. Starting to mess with the Beast Cutter and Beast Saif for fun though

Elite gaming but can't even beat the abhorrent beast without cheese tactics? Anyways, I tried using the axe and the holy blade. It made the game harder because because the both scale preferably with str, and they are both really slow weapons. I appreciate playing with a disadvantage because of the challenge, but I am more of tactical player.

Just made a video about the best cutter vs the threaded Cain. I also show the most optomized build for the beast cutter.
