Still only 20 years old

It's not about him doing this every night, it's about him performing well on a consistent basis, which he hasn't done. This 40-point game doesn't mean a cotdamn thing. Naturally, given he attempts around 20 shots a game he's going to have the odd high scoring performance, especially coming up against the worst team in the league.
He's a 20 year old second year player with a poor coach and no real point guard on a tanking team. He's shown plenty of flashes of brilliance, and to write him off at such a young age is ridiculous. We are rooting for an exciting young player that reminds us of our childhood favs and you're in here constantly on some party pooper shyt. If we're wrong, so be it, but you don't need to applaud his failures and ignore his successes.
Who is writing him off?
I just don't believe he's going to be this transcendent player like many in here believe.

Ant is incredible, but he's not on Luka's level right now. Regardless, Jalen and Sengun are both great young players getting praise from their peers. And, like it or not, their peers know more than any of us because they actually play against them.
