2014-2015 Will always be the season/playoffs he merged his athleticism with his burgeoning skill.

The only two guys that were better at that point was KD & Bron. The team seemed like they had turned a corner with a looming rematch against The Warriors to get to The Finals

Then these mothafukkas lost to Corey Brewer & Josh Smith at home up by 18 in the 4th

it was never the same

:mindblown:

this is fukking crazy. Imagine telling someone after he won the dunk contest and jumped over the hood of a car that hed have 0 dunks 20% of the way into the season a decade later. He had one of if not the best season of his career just 2 seasons ago too

breh basically ZBo now without the post skill, shot making, footwork and finesse :flabbynsick::mjlol:

Its not surprising. Hell, Vince stopped dunking after awhile or did it once every blue moon. IDK if it was him that said, "...dunking isn't the issue. It's the landing that takes the toll on your knees".

The Coli has always been real nice to Blake Griffin for some reason. Anybody else with his hype and his resume would be getting fried here on the regular. Soft, cac, no post moves, choke artist etc etc. Compared to how Dwight Howard and Chris Paul got talked about its night and day, and he didn't have half the careers they had...
They don't have the same string of injury issues as Blake but yes the Coli shyts on them unnecessarily.
Yall think he did enough to make HOF?
BBref has him at 54% chance
I fukk with Blake but nah

Blake is one of the most improved players skillwise he’s just lost that much athleticism and mobility that he’s a shell of himself.

He would still be cool in a Mason Plumlee type bench role.

Let us all not forget that Detroit did the Clippers a favor by taking Griffin's contract off their hands on top of giving up a 1st round pick that ended up becoming SGA. That one trade essentially helped create the landscape of the NBA with the superteams that we see in the league right now.

He needs a season off. His knees have hit rock bottom. Interesting that he and Jordan, both the cornerstones for poster dunks a few years ago, now can barely jump and their other skills have been deteriorated.

People really don't understand how impressive it is that Melo is doing what he's doing. As much flack as he gets for his conditioning, he's overcome the knee and shoulder issues to remain productive.

Did Blake sleep with his daughter or something ?

I rarely hear an announcer just ragging on someone incessantly like that.

Also, Blake developed into a really good perimeter shooter and his ft shooting is really good after once being awful. He's always been a good dribbler, but injuries likely have now negated what he can do off the dribbler. To say he hasnt changed or improved his game is wrong
Folks saying Blake ain’t skilled don’t really watch basketball and just remember him from his first year in the league and just thought nothing changed.

I'm surprised that Detroit hasn't tried to nudge him into retirement in order to get his contract off the books.
