no lie here in MS my mother was born in 71 and she would talk about how she picked cotton as a child and I'm like


I'm in mid 20s and in high school one of my classmates worked for a farmer and he picked cotton that was left that the cotton picker machine couldn't get

people are still probably doing it.. haven't been in the delta in a long ass time

Africans? Africans were not coming to nor in America like that . They may have visited - for business purposes in free states but not to help us in any way.

you do know that prominent leaders were going back and forth setting that up to happen right? you do know africans made contributions to the south during that time right?

What to happen? Free 3.9M+ enslaved. Nah. Africa had it's own problems and they weren't thinking about us.

Maybe during Colonial era but not Antebellum.

Africa was our responsibility and our plight was theirs. all this info is in bio of all our leaders who were putting up a fight for our liberation. frederick douglas newspaper was reporting all the activities that were occurring at the time
