Why aren’t ppl just proud of being blk American?
Black American (And just being of African descent in general) has been associated with being nothing more than a slave, criminal, being ugly, unintelligent etc for hundreds of years. Alot of black people obviously don't want to be associated with that so they'll claim something else.

The same way in the Carribbean you might have to legit torture someone to admit to being of African descent but they'll claim to be part indian (Indian Indian not native Americans) without you having to even ask them.

Being black and of African descent has been considered damn near being a animal for centuries and this claim of being anything but black is the results.

Lmao, wasn't like last year that he implied that he is jewish or comes from a jewish lineage? :dahell:

Dude, please, research more, and if possible, travel(not only for tourism) more..Both Tupous look like the range you see with Austronesian people.

Samoans and Filipinos are Austronesians and related. Do they look the same to you? Do Samoans have Afro DNA, since they are taller, some have type 4 hair, and are way more likely than Filipinos to develop muscle mass? Of course not. Sorry, but the black and white view of the world, doesn't make sense anymore.

So, these 2 suggested activities will teach you that being dark does not mean being of African descent, and it will also teach you, that looking like African, doesn't mean that the person is of African descent. There are black South Africans that could pass as mixed with Asians, but have zero Asian or non-African ancestry

These below, are Papuans, and I believe they could be placed in different Afro societies and actually pass as locals. Genetically and historically(Not talking about 40-50k years ago), they are still not Afro-descendants...Far from that.

Plus, some of you need to learn how to contextualize. The history of Austronesians and Native Americans, is completely different from each other. Some Austronesians look African, while some do not, despite being dark. Some of you constantly do this, where you simply discard all of the context, in order to fit with your agenda. Something that Cacs constantly do when they try to weaponize anything against black people.

Lol, they still exist, numbering millions and they don't look black. The real indigenous Americans from the US, look like the indigenous groups from Canada, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, Chile etc. The issue is, they are still being ruled by the descendants of the colonizers, called Criollos, and thus, describe themselves as mestizos, in order to be socially accepted. Stop this bs. Anyone that has interacted with true indigenous Americans in the US and also traveled over Central and South American countries like Bolivia or Peru, can see that they look alike.

You cant get a proper perspective with photo manipulation, above is his son. Secondly, youre conflating the term black with african, astronesians are black, african is a meaningless term, they are just the remannt of the last natural diversity the human genome is capable of though epigentic changes rather than the modern change brought on through miscegenation. Above is an exmaple of such, below is the royal lineage of Hawaii, in pure genetic expression. Not african but hawaiin, sharing a simialr expression in appearance though geenticcaly different despite convergence in phenotype.

That is the natural and only expression in the human genome, the old world was largely uniform is appearance, the minute changes are largely insignificant compared to the modern world where the human genome has been comprimises and forced to accomodate the "other" with faulty rules of classification.

This extends to the americas as well, above is a philpino girl, you can see how her appearance are remniscent to "native americans", this is an exchange of mongolid and black native blood. This phenotype doesnt exist otherwise nor is it naturally occuring
the people you speak of in the americas are not natives but are migrants from the siberian penisula, they are mongoloid that adopted the culture and customs of the natives , accounting for genetic exchange as well. Pic below are native asians, native philpinos, they are black however. African is a red herring meant to obfuscate and constrict natural human expression to one continent when its the standard, assistiing normalzing false narratives, i make no such distinctions.

Lol, it sounds like you are just venting...

Where exactly in the Caribbean? DR? I'm not from the Caribbean, but I have traveled extensively throughout the entire region, and that's not my impression at all. Even in places like Cuba, Afro-Cubans will constantly tell you that they are Africans. Openly showing you cultural practices, that in the African countries these practices originated from, many don't even practice anymore. In places like Brazil, where most the enslaved people ended up, Afro religions are always among the fastest growing religions.

Also, BAs have created many Afro related movements during the development of their ethnic group. And when it was wayyyy worse to be Afro descendant in the new world.

This is what I was writing earlier, generalizations are dangerous. Because there are many contexts that are always left aside, in order to prove an agenda.

Do you think the average black person in the diaspora is proud of being of African descent?
