The trend used to be unambiguous dark/medium black man and boy with a light complected black or mixed woman and a mixed/highly ambiguous girl.

Here in lies the difference... My perspective is not the same...

It is odd to see this kind of "Black" family.
Statistically these kind of mixed Black households represent a marginal section of the Black population. Especially if you control for married and can vacation Black households.
Which means they aren't marketing in order to corner the "new normal" market.
