nah, the reason people get at her is because she feels being with a white man Makes her 'better'. Its her mind set that's off, not the person she is tied to

Sure. :mjpls:
Explain away the rest of that post you quoted as well.

she's corny.

read the beginning of the article and basically figured she's been smutted by some white dudes and now is starting to hate them. probably doesn't take any of the responsibility in all of this. it's all the fault of evil men who treated her like a piece of meat.

She is definitely mixed and she looks it, she looks like an aborigini probably cause of the Pakistani/Jamaican combo

Whats with the desperation to claim mixed people, who themselves identify as mixed?

Neither is Pakistani, but you get the point, Black and South Asian

In Canada a lot of people mostly by our parents nationalities, its just how it is
No!!

It's just another episode of the "mixed black girl" epidemic.
It's always the darkskin ones who claim mixed.

A lightskin girl will go out of her to claim blackness faster than a darkin chick.

Hey Mixed and Non-Mixed folks! My name is Eternity and I am a university student studying English, Creative Writing and Women's Studies. I'm a lifestyle writer and blogger as well as a playwright and play director from Toronto but living in London, Ontario. I'm also a proud feminist and feminist diversity coordinator. I am mixed with Pakistani, Jamaican and Irish firstly (and Portuguese, Chinese, Indian also if you want to really get into it). I love the experiences that come with being mixed, so I've used this blog to share it with all of you.

I can't stand when women throw around the word mixed who are clearly black. We all could technically say we're mixed if we wanted

I have a cousin who is legitimately mixed, who just keeps it simple. She just tells everyone she is black & is done with it. Cuts out all the bullshiit. I'm sure if she physically looked white, she would just say she's white. The whole I'm mixed with black, white, french, indian, german, etc is ridiculous.

In Canada a lot of people identify by their parents nationalities,

I find a lot of west indian people over here in Canada go by the nationalities that have roots in the country. Example: Trinidadians tend to be a mixture of african, spanish, east indian etc and some people describe that as their background. I know a bunch of my step-father's relatives go by that than just saying they're Trini or Jamaican.

I identify by black but when talking about backgrounds I usually tell them I'm Vincentian (I wasn't born there neither was my mom, she was born in England but my grandparents were so I go by that)
