He's not wrong, people in the South seemingly don't care about actual policies and it's a massive issue. It's why Republicans win in Florida over and over and over again. Every time I think about Southerners when it comes to voting this is immediately what comes to mind.
All they fukking do is hold the entire country back from actually doing something positive. Black South Carolinans went out in droves to vote for Biden and gave a big fukk you to the progressive movement. fukk Healthcare, fukk Infrastructure, fukk equality fukk etc..... All because Clyburn told them to vote for the guy who worked for Obama. And fukk Clyburn he's fukked over Millions of young black voters futures because he fukking sucks and he doesn't give a shyt about us

Black folks in SC were always going to swing with the moderate guy if the vote came down to older black folks.
You should spend some time down there and see there's a large contingent of conservative black folks.

A variation of this line of thinking flooded TLR during the primaries. These people who are being stereotyped and looked down actually showed up to the polls in droves. The "enlightened" and "informed" voters? We don't believe you, you need more people.

these older politicians gotta go black white w.e ....but in regards to the older black politicians or if they aren't old then 'centrists' black politician give off the vibe that all THEY want to do is maintain the same power that their white counterparts have but with that they really dont want to take any bigger strides much like their white counterparts. and to me we dont have time to for incremental change on many issues (Infrastructure, Environemnt, equality/equity/policing) and to be honest many of them are intertwined which makes the changes needed to be more critical.
I say all that with the utmost respect for everything clyburn has done but
