There has never been balance.

Rappers shouldn't make rap with idea that kids it might not be suitable for kids.

oh well

That's incorrect. At one point there was balance. Growing up in Brooklyn I'd hear songs like unity from queen latifah, mr Wendell by arrested development, and fight the power by public enemy on the radio on a regular basis. Now, you never hear any music with a message.

And on top of that it's not just about what children want to hear. I'm 32 years old. I gotta career, a house, and I'm middle class. I don't want to always turn on a rap radio and here young nikka move that dope. Especially since I know the majority of black people NEVER sells drugs.

Exactly what the hell is he talking about. Mainstream rap was always balanced until the late 90s when clear channel started to buy out all the radio stations and Viacom bought out BET. Crazy thing is that people bytch about garbage rappers but immortal technique could drop an album next week and that shyt would go hot fukking wood because mothafukkas won't buy his shyt. This mess reminds me of those folks at the HBCU that bytched that Nelly sell out ass was sliding credit cards between strippers butt cheeks and they didn't want him to come to their school. But a few months before KRS-one came to the same school and the turn out was poor as fukk.

These men and women talk that shyt but won't even support positive artist.

Hearing 1 song called UNITY in the midst of every thing else is not Balance. This is a cliche argument you nostalgic about the 90s guy always give. UNITY was also no where near the biggest rap songs of that year.

Rap has always been about music that makes people bob their heads and want to party. Especially mainstream.

Rap has always had messages that weren't politically correct. Whether you were 32 or 12.

I agree with this topic

but I will not agree with this notion that Talib Kweli has made albums worth listening to after Quality :shaq2:
