Yeah
yes I agree about the enegy/vibe/spirit of most rap beats in itself. its almost like their demonic. and Pharrell is my boy and all but I lost some respect for him jumping on the Move That Dope song when at the same time he made Happy. I made a thread on that too. to me it was like he made Move That Dope for us blacks and the uplifting, feel good Happy for everyone else
Certain notes chords/frequencies do have the potential to change your mood or thinking, the same with colors.

Which is why stores are known for playing faster music to help promote spending or why target uses no music because of the color red.

What is the actual harm cause by this?

Who the hell wants to hear Nas spit incorrect history facts all over the radio?

What is that actually going to change in society.

My man, i perceive intelligence from you, but why do you come off as being stupid?

You asked why should we want to hear positive or intelligent entertainment????

You are what you eat. What you take in is what you put out. It really is simple. I promise you that.

Imagine we had a culture where education and enlightenment were valued above all else. Perhaps then, we could allow for some fukkery.

Your stance makes as much sense as women who only hang with hoes, yet they aren't one. So all your friends are whores...and none of their demons rub off on you :stopitslime:

absolutely nothing positive, inspiring or motivational. same songs about moving dope, materialism, degradation of women, booty shakin, and being bout dat life :snoop:. segments like Paternity Test Tuesdays and here in Atlants there's a segment on 107.9 where they actually encourage ppl to call in and shout out their side-pieces:why:. black radio is straight up embarrassing to listen to if your eyes and mind is really open to whats going on

I KEEP telling people that after tupac died so did hiphop.

He was a revolutionary who said what he wanted regardless of what these labels wanted to hear.
