AAs are of African descent, inescapably.
We are Black racially and AA ethnically, our nationality is American, even if it was by force. These are things you cannot change.
This entire discussion is essentially moot, just because some parts of the continent were called something else in a different language doesn’t mean that “Africa” as a concept doesn’t exist.

The Moors in Spain and the people of the Americas had long established trading relationships. This is actually well known to most modern day Moroccans. When the Moors fell the Spanish came to conquer the peoples that were no longer under the protections of the Moors. It was pretty much a free for all. This shyt was never about exploration. It was always been about conquering. Europeans couldn't even wash their asses right. They didn't create a worldwide network the took one over, miseducated the people and took credit for it.
There is a reason WP don't teach about Moors is schools. They were a great "black" civilization that literally taught modern Europeans everything that they know.

Don't understand how anything I said suggest that. My issue with us is, we get caught in these false narratives. It also depends on the kind of knowledge you have.
My argument is to get away from believing you can name or claim yourself into empowerment. There is no box you can check, there is no title you can give your self. If you do happen to corner the oppressive society with a law that does help you, they will just go back and change the law.
My solution is education and economic empowerment for the sake of a body politic. We don't need to fight this white man for loopholes in his order if we have our own land and economy. We get that through science and technology. I'm also of the belief black africans in america need a major migration, either to a certain part of the western hemisphere, or to a place in africa to better establish our own governing body. We can do that under any name you all want to claim. Hell pick one, you going to need military science and technology to maintain and protect it.

The funny thing about "AA" is the law stay in our ass yet we refuse to learn it. What you call yourself and how you classify yourself matters. It matters A LOT. The "we're from somewhere over there" attitude and the "we're immigrants in chains" narrative is so fukking bad for us. Every time we state it we are taking away our owe political rights. Indians are literally going to African countries and making themselves tribes. But we scared to the same in the land we've be on for hundreds (or thousands) of year.
