i dont know why you like to avoid reality, it was @Robbie3000 that made long winded eloquent posts saying that black people need to vote democratic because of the social safety net, why are you getting mad at me for pointing out an argument that you guys are making?

second of all im not pro reagan or pro bush, what i said is that black people should split our votes

and i think its totally understandable why black people vote democratic and im not sure why you think i need a history lesson about that, my point is that its time to move on from that strategy. instead of asking who hates us the least we need to ask the question what do we need to do to be a dominating force in american politics and im saying its more powerful to station ourselves as the swing vote then it is to be seen is the base of the democratic party

What we need to do to be a dominating voice is NOT arbitrarily split our vote between two shytty ass parties. Bring em to the table, have a list of demands and see who is willing to play ball. Majority of black people are not xenophobic and don't give a shyt about immigration. We also see through Republican bullshyt on calls to privatize schools.

You're prediction is wrong unless the GOP changes it's tone and approach on how they deal with minorities. But that won't happen anytime soon because they still cater to their base which is still very much hostile towards blacks, Latinos, Jews, Asians, Gays, Muslims, the Non-Religious and else they deem as the other.

Vote local. Run local. We're talking about Presidents and the Congress, but Ferguson was 70% Black with almost an all-White city counsel?

Get your interests served at the local level. They push on the state reps. The state reps push on the Congressional reps. One election isn't changing anything. if you dont care about immigration and you think its xenophobic to control immigration, thats just your opinion but there area lot of black people that are concerned about an influx of cheap labor and this pandering toward latino issues being made by the democratic party

a lot of black people agree that charters schools and vouchers are the way to reform the education system and do not agree that union jobs for teachers is the primary issue that should be guiding education reform

and i have a problem with putting black issues as simply one in a long list issues, what happens is what you see now, blacks are being used as a political base to address issues of "Latinos, Jews, Asians, Gays, Muslims, the Non-Religious and else they deem as the other", the democratic party assumes black people will vote democrat no matter what so they go out and try to address other people's issues that may not be so loyally democratic

you do realize if black people jumped to the Republican Party, they wouldn't have to vote for whoever is running or already in office.

But that's besides the point. Republicans don't try to cater to black people because we don't try to influence their votes. MONEY is the only influence they care about and if black people can affect the outcome of an election they will at least listen. Democrats take the black vote for granted because they know all they have to do is get nikkas to show up on Election Day.
