Yep, it's over bro :manny:

Cuz I see the same mentality in brothas our age (mid 20s).

I'm in DC so you know these nikkas on that work for the government/firm and dont mess it up life plan.

They working for that six figure salary so they can buy a lot of stuff and stunt.

There is nothing in their beliefs/values that make me think they gonna start businesses one day when they got a wife and kids and working nonstop to provide for them.

Doesn't help that a lot of foreign brothas come over here with the same game plan with no goal of help building their homeland in Africa/Caribbean.

We just aren't raising black men like that.

The older generation promotes college, military and other government jobs.

Why?

Because that's all they know.

I'm working this govt job, building my online businessss then setting shyt up overseas in the next few years.

I don't tell anybody cuz they ain't on the same shyt :manny:

I'll always have a hand in something here but I wanna build and connect in a country with more blacks.
ur the one with the Brazil company right?

Yes.

For the record I don't consider not having your rights violated a privilege. But for people talking about white families where their elders are passing on opportunity/employment or money, absolutely yes, shut the fukk up.

People wanna live selfish and shortsighted, they wanna stunt, live the fast life, covet things that will get them p*ssy over wisdom, settle for barely tolerable "comfortable" lives as lifelong consumers like their parents then wonder why they nor their parents have anything to pass down. For a generation with the knowledge and understanding of the principles at play to consciously continue to spin the wheels of a racist system and complain/blame everyone on the way down is unacceptable. nikkas resist group economics then talk about other groups practicing group economics as if they're cheating the game of life.

I don't wanna hear it anymore.

Also white priveledge discussions have a way of framing every white person as some rich yuppie born into a million dollars which is major cognitive dissonance away from the majority of broke white people who are living check to check like black ppl. These were the same people who elected trump into office based on the promises he made them too

The main people who frame that way, are those who deny it exists:mjpls:. Money isn't the only factor in WP

Word to EVERYHING. I thought America was closer and closer to Her ideal.

This shyt has caused a seismic shift in my awareness. Not that the azzholes were in existence, but the utter prevalence of them. Looking at the election map from a county view was breathtaking.

Had me shook to drive 7 hours through red states just recently. It was cool tho. No problems on the way.

So this is what you want?
It Would Take 228 Years for Black Families to Amass Wealth of White Families, Analysis Says

Actually history shows this to be false. Oppression is incremental and slow... Real change is often quick and violent.

That study shows that literally a few tweaks to public policy would've altered the course of history.

We can't change the past but we can right some of those past wrongs through the courts and with an aware administration. And we can also make sound policies NOW which can alter the course of history for the younger generation.

And like I said, a majority of y'all aren't built for any type of revolution.

You are using the word "We" as if black people have ever been considered to be a part of the american fabric. WE are right where white people want us to be. A self destructing permanent underclass. NOW is too late... You should have seen the writing on the wall along time ago but some fools still believed in "good" white folks and liberals. They sold you hope and change and now those 8 years are over and you got nothing to show for it.

But you're right about one thing. Most people arent built for a revolution.. They were not even mentally prepared to handle a Trump presidency as a possibility.

I got a Brazil travel website. I also started a marketing site recently.

www.adventuresincopywriting.com for brothas who wanna know how to make money online....it's a lot of good game on there and it's still new...

But yeah. An OG approached me recently about creating another Brazil related website that has great potential so I'll be doing that next year too.

We gotta connect overseas and not think we are just limited domestically.

These white boys living and making money worldwide - online.

So when brothas act like you gotta have 10K to start a business, I look at them with the Martin smiley face.

You can get started with a fraction of that - online.

Not to be negative but you gave the black american populace too much credit with this line of thought

Black folk ran with hillary for name recogniiton. Nothing more noting less. Black people as a whole are still ignorant of the damage the clinton administration did to the community and I was bringing somebody up to speed on Bill Clintons fukkery seemingly every day during the presidential race. That Arsenio saxaphone performance was so potent its winning Clinton votes over a decade into the future

Only thing ppl pressed her with was the superpredators line and she managed to dab and nae nae her way out of that one

is there a thread on this? if not we need it badddddd.

I swear most black people think bill is "down" with black people.:snoop:

I criticize Trump every now and then, but I also tell black men and boys not to be dependent on white men for employment. I don't feel like I have to pick one thing or the other :russ:. I have a tech consulting business and everyone who works for me is black, I have always talked about the importance of entrepreneurship to black men, but I also think Trump is garbage.

I dont like how any nikka who says anything about Trump is automatically called a scary nikka who isn't putting in work. My post history speaks for itself. Way before he even got nominated, I talked about the importance of black businesses and practicing group economics, being independent, etc. I have always talked to brehs and brehettes on here about ownership. I'm not saying it was well-received, I made a lot of ppl who didn't want to hear it mad, but I've always tried at least.

How did you go about starting up your company?

I assume you deal in contract bids and such, how do you go about finding and landing prospective business?

You would be more than content to have 1000 Obama and Clinton type presidencies even if it meant being the perpetual underclass in America and Africa remaining the "dark continent."

Just reread the OP and this right here is one of the most noticeable things I've noticed about people throughout the past 4-5 years.

Bottomline is, plenty of folks claim they want freedom, independence, and/or true equality in this country, but the truth is they aren't about that life at all. They just want to be here and "feel" welcomed...even though they aren't welcomed at all.

At the end of the day, most of you aren't going anywhere, are not ready to destroy the system, and will not shed blood or die for a revolution......

so you might as well play the game which means using politics and $$$$$ to your

Black folks are not the ones who will destroy the system.

And we've been shut out from playing the game. Y'all need to read more.

You're being purposefully disingenuous using this chart, I know you're a very smart poster, don't do this.

Let's talk about it. I don't say anything I can't support.

I know you are an Obama apologist though and can already anticipate your response.
