One thing i noticed more and more when i really started paying attention (i'm 25, didn't really start noticing it til i got like 23-24), a lot of us make excuses for the black men who possess the money/resources to do something who don't.

Example, when i bring up entrepreneurship on here (and other places), there's always cats who say, "b-b-but no black men have the money to start businesses" which is not true :mjlol:. There are quite a few successful black men in America who do have enough money to start a business if they wanted to (and comfortably), those guys just choose not to. I know guys like this personally. They could, but they don't want to spend any money on building something to help other black ppl, they want to stunt and flex (of course they'd never admit that but that is why).

Ppl say don't blame them, and i'm not blaming them, i'm just admitting that nothing will get better for us economically if those of us who are able to build, don't build. White ppl damn sure aren't gonna do it, and it's not gonna magically happen by itself. So when cats complain about their white employer, and white men in general, i'm just thinking, yeah that's true but what are you DOING about it? Dudes will say i'm being a dikk or a c00n but i don't sugarcoat stuff, the fact is, if you aren't actively trying to change something, then it's just complaining and complaining for the most part does nothing. If you think white employers are underpaying you, or promoting someone else instead of you because of race, or throwing out your applications because of your race etc what are you gonna do about it? Are you gonna link up with some other black ppl and get some shyt popping, or are you gonna just keep doing the same thing and complaining about it later?

About the black men with means who refuse to build. I have an uncle who's got a lot of dough. He always kept talking about starting a restaurant and putting some black ppl on, but he never did. What he did do is buy himself a big house, nice cars, take trips to numerous islands, a bunch of jewelry, playing golf with old cacs etc i've known several black men like this, who i know for a fact had enough bread to start a business but did not, they rather stunt and be "that nikka" and not build something for black ppl.

Not creating businesses, jobs, etc but we should make excuses for those guys and act like they're too poor and helpless to do it (you don't have to be a multimillionaire to start a small business for gods sake)? But when a lot of us get successful, we don't build anything, we just get ours and fukk the rest, but too many to count.

yall cats cosigning the bullshyt op should be ashamed of yourselves. some assbackwards wannabe intellectual contrarian tripe.

trump ran his campaign on the same premise "black people ain't shyt and things can't get worse so vote for me". then the op added more zest saying this will spark change. completely belittling and demeaning the change that has been taking place for 150 years. completely disregarding the push and pull of forces and agents that drive progress and change.

like the only way things can change is by putting our entire gov in the hands of people that would rather ignore our challenges altogether.

other problem is people like op come off as straight up puzzy. ain't about doing nothing revolutionary. content with talking about why we should just let shyt possibly get worse and see what happens. then when real dudes ready to put in work they start crying and want to get out the car like tre did.

yall ain't fit to serve in a real revolution. piss poor physical condition, never handled a weapon, can't punch your way out of a wet paper bag. mentally weak and lack strategic thought. instead of figuring out how to bring solutions together you just say why something won't work.

this ain't even all the way about hillary and trump, even though it relates. it's about yall miserable no ambition having people that flap your fingers and gums, but ain't about shyt. foh

hit me with a few :umad::umad:
cause yall dudes is corny.

i'd purge dudes like this when shyt really gets ready to go. not strategically, mentally, or physically prepared. got the white flag in your back pocket already. :camby:

Yep, it's over bro :manny:

Cuz I see the same mentality in brothas our age (mid 20s).

I'm in DC so you know these nikkas on that work for the government/firm and dont mess it up life plan.

They working for that six figure salary so they can buy a lot of stuff and stunt.

There is nothing in their beliefs/values that make me think they gonna start businesses one day when they got a wife and kids and working nonstop to provide for them.

Doesn't help that a lot of foreign brothas come over here with the same game plan with no goal of help building their homeland in Africa/Caribbean.

We just aren't raising black men like that.

The older generation promotes college, military and other government jobs.

Why?

Because that's all they know.

I'm working this govt job, building my online businessss then setting shyt up overseas in the next few years.

I don't tell anybody cuz they ain't on the same shyt :manny:

I'll always have a hand in something here but I wanna build and connect in a country with more blacks.

True and agreed.

But all I'm saying is that hardcore leftist like Sanders while NOT perfect would make the route to black liberation much smoother than compared to Trump and Hilary and are less of a threat compared to the other two.

I'm not trying to dikkride white leftist but I feel compared to centrist and right-wingers blacks can use them to our advantage for our goals. IIRC FDR boosted the black middle class correct me if I'm wrong.

My thing is why do these blacks think people like Sanders is a threat to them while they praise Hilary! Thats what I am really getting at.

Not to be negative but you gave the black american populace too much credit with this line of thought

Black folk ran with hillary for name recogniiton. Nothing more noting less. Black people as a whole are still ignorant of the damage the clinton administration did to the community and I was bringing somebody up to speed on Bill Clintons fukkery seemingly every day during the presidential race. That Arsenio saxaphone performance was so potent its winning Clinton votes over a decade into the future

Only thing ppl pressed her with was the superpredators line and she managed to dab and nae nae her way out of that one

my dude...Im sorry but this is straight bullshyt

For the record, I left America and i run two companies, one employing 37 people, the other employing 6

most business start ups fail... and thats a fact

most entrepreneurs who go broke do so because of failed business investments , not due to bad spending habits....

Ive had quite a few friends lose everything due to bad investments

Im fed up of people who have no experience of actually running a business selling some kind of pipe dream....

setting up a business is easy ....... running one is hard ..... running one that actually is profitable is even harder than that

you can do all the right things and still fail.....

If you knew what it takes just to get to the point in a business where you reach critical mass some of you wouldnt be so cavalier in your thinking .....

I have a friend that set up a company that has a contract worth over $700,000 per annum from a supermarket chain , dude hasnt been able to pay himself a salary for 6 months and is uber driving in what spare time he has... and trust me stories like that are common...

I have another friend that owns a corner store and sleeps in it overnight on the floor in a sleeping bag, he has to open very early and close up very late and because he lives very far from his store its the best option ....... he only goes home at the weekends

I can fully understand why a dude sitting on a lot of dough wouldnt want start up a business..... its a lot of stress and hassle .... some people just want an easy life... who could blame them?

Im a person that will always encourage black people into entrepreneurship BUT one has to manage expectations.... You have to let people know what they are in for....

If you arent willing to go into debt, dont go into business ......

it is what it is and good luck to anyone trying to go down that route, personally for myself I wouldnt do it any other way
