When my dad got sick I got a therapist. It helped alot.going through anxiety/ depression right now since i lost my uncle last year and found out my father 78 has cancer..
it's been a struggle to focus outside of work because i'm worried about him

Does anyone else think the constant policing we do of each other leads to issues with each other? And if that's the case why do we allow it?

I have gotten a bunch of emails asking for use to have a segment talking about this type of stuff but I've been reluctant only because I'm not sure I can talk about it in depth enough to really do it justice. I honestly didn't realize just how wide spread this is in our culture.

I've been a QMHP for close to 10 years now.
The first thing I suggest to anybody suffering from depression is MINDFULNESS MEDITATION.
It works.
The key is losing attachment to your thoughts.
Thoughts come and go, but it's up to you whether you react to them or not.
