Everything is wrong with this system. Any alteration to it in order for it to work for Black folks, would mean it would have to be overhauled completely.
The reason it is liked is because of the greedy language it has to it. There is a pre-coded element of greed in it already. When you add the scenario Amerikkka set up, then you have even more of a failure.
You can't be serious with this.My point is that it is in the material interests of working class people to work together and struggle for socialism. At the end of the day, this talk of values and whatnot is tangential to that main point. Capitalism doesn't work for the vast majority of humanity who live under insecurity, stress, and oppression. You can say that these people can simply try to become rich to change their condition, but the likelihood of that happening for the vast majority of these people is extremely slim due to systemic constraints. If you're not a member of the working class (if you don't sell your labor to survive), then your position makes sense. You'll follow your material interests to support the system, unless your values lead you to oppose it.

Define "working class"?
... and I'd argue capitalism is working quite well for most of the world, and that the stress/oppression you speak of come not from capitalism, but from the state.
Give me an example of oppression created by capitalism?
Nah....People are not a mix of good and evil naturally. People are naturally good hearted, until their mind is conditioned to recycle evil from before and if they are conditioned to be evil, then they can be conditioned to be good. Everyone seems to follow patterns in life. You seem to be saying that "God" created a people to set out to do this type of evil today we see. That's a whole other story, I won't get into...
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.-Isaiah 45:7
Again I'm not in this for any type of argument, but the writing is on the wall. People only choose to see and hear what they want to believe which is fine.
Still no example and/or evidence I see...Yes while the majority of the world is in poverty capitalism yet again is working at better levels than ever.

And who determines the value of their work?I basically defined "working class" in the post you quoted. It consists of people who sell their labor to survive, in contrast to those who own the means of production (ruling class). I will say that obviously class dynamics are more complex than they were in the 1840s, especially with the rise of the service economy in recent decades and the rise of a labor aristocracy - but class conflict between the working class and the bourgeoisie is still the central contradiction in capitalism. People receiving less than the value of their work (exploitation) drives this.
cap·i·tal·ismAgain, for starters, I don't divorce the state from capitalism as you do. If you want to move the discussion in the direction of why the state is not a neutral institution but rather a key one for capitalist rule, we can do so. But as a quick example of stress, the fear of being fired or laid off at any given time doesn't come from the state. Look at how insecure people feel nowadays. People are scared to even use their vacation days!
Wait, wait, wait... You brehs don't believe greed and selfishness to be part of human nature?
We havent been practicing "capitalism", what people in this thread are referring to when the say "capitalism", is the mixed american economy best described as corporatism, where the players in the market also set the rules. This "capitalism" when unchecked is unsustainable. They are, however a system that rewards unchecked greed and feeds into it isn't really something that will work long term
