Black Panther or Logan

I dunno, Logan's action is just more gory. Which is just whatevs to me. Does he display any fighting skills? He just seems like a brute with claws.
BP at least attempted to show the hand to hand was by people who know what they are doing. I've definitely seen better but Logan's action was just very pedestrian to me.
The ending to Logan was dope to me. It looked like they might cop out and let him live but na they went all the way. I appreciated that shyt.

too early to call right now imo. i have to wait and see how it ages for me. the dark knight and logan are currently my #1 and #2 of all time comic book movies. i can pop those on and still enjoy them like it's new.

He killed quite a few people in the movie. Could have been done with more artistry.

The choreography was never reallly more than wide swipes and two handed face first dives in any of the movies. In the comics wolverine is supposed to be samurai like with his claws.

Edit: it'll sound corny but I always pictured his fight scenes to be like Rafael from ninja turtles but with more blood. Showcase some martial arts skill but with recklessness and brutality.

Actually that one fight after he gets his powers back was cool. Thats how all of them should have been.

i just saw your edit and maybe i'm being a snob about it but i prefer not having CGI in fight scenes. there are exceptions but a lot of times they don't look or feel as good as non-CGI fights imo.

Those Waterfall fights, casino scene and car chase are up there with Logan. The lesser fights/action scenes hurt it and keep it from being Logan good overall for action scenes though.

I found the story and characters much deeper in BP though.

Could give a fukk about the villains and side characters in Logan.

Waterfall fights were weak and predictable. Car chase was CGI garbage.

BP is 4/5

I mean.. Huge JackedMan as the perfect Wolverine ending his run. Perfect Old Man Xavier. X-23 just dazzling.

The fights and CG were a cut above. The end was truly gut wrenching.

BP is great. The impact is huge for kids looking up to regal and heroic Black characters. Excellent.
