Black Panther next for Marvel Studios?

Only problem with Michael Jai White is that he isn't that good of an actor. He's not bad, but he's not on par with the talent Marvel has been putting in their movies.

Black Panther is a character that often makes Iron Man look like an ass. Can you see MJW pulling that off?

He's a better or as good an actor as every single Marvel lead except maybe Robert Downey Jr.

I explicitly said in my post that he WASN'T a bad actor. He's just not as good as ANY of the leads in the other films.

Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans are better actors than MJW. The best acting Performance I ever saw from MJW was when he played Tyson, everything else hasn't been that great.

MJW can deliver if called on. Dude is supremely cultured and versatile. You might not see this as most of his movies are him using his physicality over his charm and intellect. Black Dynamite was one role where he showed humor, comedic timing and fighting skills. I would give him the Black Panther audition of the strength of that movie.

He's always shown an ability to do humor. Even going back to his role in Spawn. I've seen damn near every film MJW including the ones where he needed to do more dramatic work. I just don't see him being able to pull of this role.

Sounds like a job for Lance Gross. Underated actor. He has the looks and build
for the part. Though he hasn't been in any serious roles, this could be his big launch.
