I think the only people who could be in favor of this move are people who've never actually read a Black Panther comic.
Nothing about Morris Chesnutt leads me to believe he could do a proper Portrayal of the character.
It's up there with casting Halle Berry to play Storm, only with Berry you had the excuse of them going after someone with major star power.

Black Panther is my favorite superhero so i'm very familiar with him.
Like i said Chestnutt would have never crossed my mind, but I can't say i'm upset with it.
Me personally I would go with Djimon Housou or Chiwetel Ejiofor...but I can't say this potential casting upsets me at all.
nowhere near as bad as Halle Berry playing Storm tho

Chestnutt isn't that good of an actor to begin with. The limited work I've seen him do in action films has been laughable. He can't do accents, and he sure as hell doesn't have the screen presence to pull off a character like T'Challa.

Morris doesn't necessarily need to be the person in T'challa's suit during the fight scenes
