Ok, I was going in the wrong lane.

What money will be circulated in the BC other than people going to buy BP themed garb from black businesses?

We as a bc create 1.5 trillion in spending, and Black Panther is supposed to change that?

Im sorry my dude but a comic book movie is not going to change blacks spending habits or brand loyalty.
That’s a problem BC has to answer. No one is forcing blacks to spend money on frivolous things.

The money being circulated in the BC will come from the entire cast of BP getting checks off that film, and their families eating off of it.

Ryan Coogler’s bag from this film goes directly to his future children.

It’s simple. His children will have access to better schools and resources because of his work.

If you do well in life, so will your children.

I’m not even looking at the symbolism, I’m talking about jobs.

Us working for white people is nothing new and i don't know why you nikkas insist on acting like it is

Black actors (or "regular" black people who aren't in the entertainment industry) being employed by whites is not "bad", but it's nothing new or groundbreaking. You know it too.

We can go see the movie and that's fine, but when will most of you understand that blacks need to OWN things?

Why don't you get that working for white people is not some milestone? Is just the same old same old. Nothing groundbreaking about it.

This is the issue i have with most of you "black twitter" nikkas and you can neg me if you want. Other races don't stop at just "good job working for others", they actually wanted their own businesses/economic base. That's why you see Asians with takeouts/restaurants/nail salons etc all over the place, even our communities. They understand the importance of ownership. Even Latinos understand it better than we do.

nikkas in general overhype working for white people. Then in the end, you can't pass that "job" down to your kids because you don't own the company. They can't inherit your job. So your kids have to go out and ask white ppl for a job just like you did. And the cycle repeats over and over every generation. And it will continue to until you nikkas realize we need more businesses, instead of celebrating "jobs" working for cacs.

You said symbolism. In reality, neither Hidden Colors or Black Panther are going to make serious change.

But they both improve the situations of blacks people.

Tariq and Coogler are one in the same, at the end of the day.

There’s no difference in taking kids to see BP and HC.

 WRONG

One is a fictional work of art and one is real History. If real history couldn't affect us then the shyt in HC would've been taught to us in school. The fact that you are comparing a fictional nation like Wakanda to real life events that actually happened only makes my original point more factual. You nikkas are blurring the line between fiction and reality

Both are symbolism because we are not living either. You are not a black person of slavery, Jim Crow, redlining, reconstruction or any of those eras.
What I’m saying is that neither are going to fix any problems in the BC and both are examples of black directors making money.

Tariq’s success does nothing for BC, except create one less poor black person in the BC, which is a huge deal.

The thing your soliloquy of ignorant Nonsense is missing is that other communities support eachother. Blacks don’t.

If black panther was Mexican, Asian, or White Panther, with a cast and director that was predominately of that race, there’s unanimous support because they understand The power of representation. We don’t.

Bullshyt, Tariq offers tangible solutions in HC to help with many of the issues he points out in the movie. Ok Black Panther is an action flick, Again, stop comparing a comic book work of fiction to our real history and reality. And then downplay our real history talking about it's irrelevant. You are starting to venture in :mjpls: territory to prove your point.

What has it actually done though? That’s symbolism.

Hidden Colors as a series, has done nothing but create one less poor black man. That about it.

So you think, seeing that the cast is black, they will be spending their checks within the black community?

Gotcha.
