Don't forget about the TV shows Tyler Perry & his studio produces. The current TV shows he has on OWN & TLC are . Don't nobody even talk about them & most black people don't know they exist.

Some of the stuff on own is quality

Is the stuff from Tyler Perry on OWN quality though?

So are there any other movies that are the same movie but are just the different version because of the cast? If so has one been more accepted/received because of the cast? Has white Hollywood been throwing themselves all over it giving it praises making it a shoe in for award season?

Well I thought this thread was being jumped cauSe of Single Black Woman airing on Lifetime. It’s literally the same thing but 2021 elements and black women. I’m watching cause I’ve been fans of the leading ladies for a while.
