Yes, its a comedy. It's a half hour show, so you don't have to commit a lot of time watching the pilot to determine if its for you.

It got better after it came back from the COVID break.
First 2 episodes of season 2 was funny as hell, y'all nikkas tripping.

this season is ok so far.....Blair's antics are keepin it afloat right now....them giving him an office that people only come in to fart....

I agree, season 2 was so sus I had to cut it off early. It went to shyt!

In what ways?
Other than the fact that one show is about stock scams and the other is about spies, underneath it all they are both adult "office sitcoms" with plenty of cartoon violence. And Blair reminds me of Cyril for some reason, plus the rivalry with the Lehman Brothers reminds me a little of the rivalry with ODIN/Barry.
I think it just hit me during the latest episodes because Blair's "Christmas Carol" visions seemed to be the type of thing that Archer would do. Especially when he compared it to Scrooge McDuck.
