Metalhead was a throwback to old school horror and thriller movies, so knowing that, I kinda appreciated it for what it was. It told a coherent story without too many words, which is a testament of directing and acting. I liked it, because it was a little balsy and different in approach, I can see why people didn't like it.

yeah I saw this as more of a horror tribute then some lessons learned type story

I took it all as the closest thing she could get to the "normal" growing up process of leaving your parent's shadow.
That makes it sound a little "After School Special"-ish.

I didn't mind the ending though. There's kind of a "Black Mirror" formula, and it would be way too predictable if EVERY episode followed this exact formula:

-Sympathetic Protagonist is introduced
-Technological Phenomenon occurs
-Protagonist is revealed to have committed some kind of sin.
-Audience turns against the original Protagonist and wants them to be punished
-Technology is used to torture the protagonist in some horrible way, far out of proportion to their crimes
-Credits roll, audience realizes that they're in some way guilty of the same crimes
-Depression ensues


So it's good that they don't give us the expected ending every once in a while.

Still watching the last ep, but I’ve enjoyed every episode this season.
