Saw the topic bumped and thought there were more episodes....:to:

10 minutes into the first episode.

The scene with the prime minister watching the video had me :ohhh::mjlol::lupe:
You are in for a mindfukk. First episode is truly transgressive television. TV doesn't leave me in shock often if at all...but that shyt really left me feeling a certain way.

Far as episode ranks go...it's been awhile since I've watched this (I really need to rewatch), but from memory, it's hard to separate 15 Million Merits and The National Anthem.....if I HAD to pick one I'd probably go with The National Anthem for the aforementioned reasons, but both are great in different ways. After that, The Entire History of You was fun and it's always good to see television that shows relationship trouble created by trifling women (These hoes ain't loyal). White Bear was creepy, and really spoke to how vindictive society can be....how far are we willing to go to punish people, do the most heinous of crimes deserve the most heinous of punishments and how much should we take part? Be Right Back was just okay...I feel like the story seemed to draw upon a bunch of different tropes that I've seen somewhere before and that it just felt kinda messy. Waldo leans far too much on absurdity.

The crazy/sad thing is, that's exactly how some shyt like that would play out.

And when they showed the princess walking woozy and shyt, I thought she was gonna die, bleed out or something, and they would find out that she could've been saved if everyone in the country wasn't inside watching the PM fukk a pig.

But for her to have been released 30 minutes before he fukked :wow:

Black Mirror, Channel 4's Emmy-winning 'Twilight Zone for the modern age', returns in the form of a feature-length film for Christmas. Three interwoven stories of Yuletide techno-paranoia collide in the most chilling and mind-bending Black Mirror yet.

Creator Charlie Brooker said: "I always enjoy a good ghost story at Christmas, and I'm a sucker for the Amicus’ compendium horror movies of the 70s. Our aim is to create the Black Mirror equivalent of that."

Phil Clarke, Channel 4’s head of comedy said “I’m delighted that we have a Black Mirror Special this Christmas. Charlie Brooker has penned a dystopian future festive tale, that intertwines three stories to deliver a dramatic and thrilling twist. It’s satirical, comic, disturbing, and thought provoking. Not to be missed.”

Black Mirror is an anthology series which taps into our contemporary unease about the modern world. Its stand-alone dramas are sharp, suspenseful, satirical tales with a techno-paranoia bent – all audacious ‘What if’ stories.

Black Mirror is produced by Barney Reisz and executive produced by Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones through their new production company, House of Tomorrow, an Endemol company. The Christmas special was commissioned by Rachel Springett for Channel 4 and is directed by Carl Tibbetts.
