Just brought this off iTunes. Sonically it's this album vs Yeezus. This might be the best thing I've heard this year. Black milk is legend. Dude is crazy on beats. Super underrated. Just great music. I love it.

Album is very good, but every project he's released since Tronic has been somewhat disappointing. He just set the bar so high with that album and I want him to reach those heights again. There hasn't been a better produced album since it came out. Almost every song left me like

never been huge on black milk. was hoping this would change that, but nah....his whole sound is just dull as hell to me. and he doesn't seem to progressing at all. every album sounds exactly the same. dude comes off as a very poor man's j dilla.

Black Milk is 75% miss, 25% hit. As evidenced on the Random Axe album- there are 4-5 absolutely excellent beats, and the rest meh. Tronic was whatever. 365 was wack. His best beats nowadays are spread out to various rappers. The Penmanship beat on Skyzoo's album a couple years ago was dope as fukk.
