thats the problem..overload...its a curse to great music...on a great week we might see 8 albums leak and you could never give them all real listens because you know you have the other albums to get to. shyt fukks my playlist up sometimes. It was a good listen, but i have to admit i don't have that feeling of wanting to go back for more.
I'll give it a couple more spins though, i'm getting through so much music it's hard to give each album that time it deserves.
i never get how people dont have time to listen to new music like that.. just between getting my day going, commuting to/from,coming home and cooking- i go through so much music.. thats a good at least 4hrs daily, to listen to music..thats the problem..overload...its a curse to great music...on a great week we might see 8 albums leak and you could never give them all real listens because you know you have the other albums to get to. shyt fukks my playlist up sometimes.
yeah thats true..but having the time doesnt necessarily equate to digesting the music. back in the day we'd have an entire days of free time and maybe 1 or 2 new tapes to bump and that was all you had all month or whatever...you really had alot of chances to connect to the music or the lyrics..i never get how people dont have time to listen to new music like that.. just between getting my day going, commuting to/from,coming home and cooking- i go through so much music.. thats a good at least 4hrs daily, to listen to music..![]()

I commute in my car every day - 4hr round trip. I probably listen to about 6 hrs a day, minimum.
But as @Pinyapplesuckas said, if its a week full of new material your taking in its hard to digest the music on this first listen, especially if it doesn't grab you immediately.
I listened to this album on the back of Boldy James, which hit me immediately. It's a completely different sound to go into. But i will give it time because Black Milk i have respect for.
true..
this album was dope off first listen, imo.. but, i did go back and REALLY listen again later that night.. i try not to keep alot of music on my iPod, but this made its way in the current rotation.. cant wait for that Blu & Nottz project to drop![]()
+ add to that old undiscovered music no matter what genre, that has a tone of jewels.yeah thats true..but having the time doesnt necessarily equate to digesting the music. back in the day we'd have an entire days of free time and maybe 1 or 2 new tapes to bump and that was all you had all month or whatever...you really had alot of chances to connect to the music or the lyrics..
but now if the album doesnt smack you in the face immediately on first listen it might get buried in time and forgotten instantly because something new just dropped or is dropping soon

So many (dope) music, but really limited time to explore it. It looks like a mission impossible. That sucks!
