In all seriousness, it would be a productive use of TLR to create a list/database of male therapists, especially black ones, within the USA or those who do telehealth appointments.

I was trying to help a black man recently find a black male therapist locally and did not find the task particularly easy.

there really needs to be some type of mass study on this.
mfers will open a little business and their ego get on levels like we're back in days where they were lords and we're peasants.
You see it a lot with these chicks doing nails, makeup, lashes, etc. I also notice it with restaurants. Just a completely unserious, unprofessional spirit. I've also noticed a rather sinister strain of black victimhood/crab mentality shyt on twitter with the "professionalism is white supremacy" shyt you sometimes see. Instead of improving themselves, people cast their flaws as black cultural differences and suggest if you have a problem with it you're racist or westernized. Why the fukk would any customer tolerate late service, or half assed service, or disrespect? And worse yet, what type of internalized inferiority do you have as a black person to say professional service and punctuality are white behavior? You see the same shyt from these black people out here saying being health conscious and working out are white behaviors. Insanity.

The professional thing would have been to say hey, if you want to know how/why I’d be a good therapist for you…read my bio, website info etc. That's how a normal, professional would handle that. But of course she's not. She clearly despises black men and is incapable of providing professional services to them. I'm not even sure she's able to provide professional services to black women either, based on her twitter bio ("I help Black women overcome perfectionism"). Are you a therapist or a cheer leader?

For black men, if you decide to select a therapist, do your research. If it's a black woman, do a twitter search of the following phrases:

-Intersectionality
-Intersectional
-Black men
-bell hooks

Do the same search with white women providers, although I doubt you'll see anything under "black men" from them. Those searches could save you money and mental strain.

Nah don't generalize.

Black men should DEFINITELY not see this looney tunes gender warfare third wave feminist. But that would apply if she were any other race.

Her main problem, besides her mindset, is she thinks she's cute. The sexual tension gets in the way of being a professional.

But an older, perhaps conservative, black woman just might be the perfect fit. You have to do your due diligence and "date" any therapist you may confide in.

Although I'd agree that a therapist that looks like you is often the best. But that is easier said than done.

I know one dude on a forum that always will try to quell people calling out professionalism or lack thereof of certain Black Establishments as "White Supremacy". I hate when that dusty motherfukker speaks because he is always trying to talk down on Black people not supporting each other. He also tends to over compensate but maybe that's because his wife is white. Anyway I don't think critiquing a BoB or their services is white supremacy.

Just today my sister had a hair appointment that was set for 12:30 but she didn't get served until 2 and it kind of delayed our day. Some stuff needs to be called out.

Receive therapy from mentally ill women brehs
Or be conned into therapy at all by mentally ill women

Of the men in or have gone to therapy I’d bet over half was at the behest of a woman

It’s a scam bruh. Some people DO need therapy and it’s helpful, but a lot of times It’s inherintrly flawed bc it comes with an assumption that ‘men aren’t in tune with emotions’ and how we are as men is flawed. This is even worse now in a gender-less society that doesn’t acknowledge men are the way we are for a reason…somebody needs to be the rock. We can’t all be empaths. I’ve dated women in therapy and they were overly analytical and nuerotic

‘Why don’t you show emotion’. bytch bc I’m grounded :gucci:

I’m about to call this bytch and cuss her out

The stupidity of saying this.. and being on a site for black men.
Woman says she needs a safe space from Black men…
Black men on a message board conspire to harass her
Can’t say this was all the way thought out… definitely will be aiding in her confirmation bias if anything
