But the things he said ring true. it's crazy how thing played out with him . A bunch of brothas tried to warn him about his wife but he shunned them only to find out she was cheating on him with white guys while he was in college trying to build a life for them. After that he went haywire.
Yeah I remember that, that was a damn shame.

I found his videos to be insightful though he does have a level of bitterness in him. I hope he doing better now though.. and his stutter had come a long way.

No more black men need to learn Boxing and/ or Jiu Jitsu..

If you can fight already this doesn't apply to you..but it's breh who think they can fight just because they're black...

If you've never been in a fight or been trained/taught how to throw hands you're setting yourself up for failure.

I do not want to be that guy at the mercy of some cac who knows jiu jitsu just mounting and throwing punches on you and you're helpless.

Better to invest in a good martial art instead of lifting to try and look cute leave that to cacs.

Boxing MT BJJ will get you stronger and get your cardio right on top of giving you a functional actionable skill.

StrongLifts 5×5 Workout Program for Beginners | StrongLifts

When I started following this program everything fell into place.

Since then I’ve added running 3 Miles 3x a week to keep my heart strong in addition to constant stretching and calisthenics.

The most important thing is consistency and proper rest to grow.

Just start working at it and you’ll get bigger.

I can vouch for SL 5X5 :wow:

Any variation of a 5X5 routine really :manny:

Especially if you're a beginner.

Is it just me or are the newer generations of black boys quite short or very skinny or a combo of both?? So many teenage black boys are scrawny as hell and many late teens-early 20s are looking me in the eye and I'm only 5'5:dwillhuh:.
Their parents fed them bs like fast food plus they're not active

Sometimes it seems that way but prehaps it varies state to state but alot of kids were raised on bullshyt food. i can't tell you how many times i've seen mothers consistently give their children fast food for dinner. Boys especially when going through puberty need adequate sustenance from clean sources. i understand that lack of knowledge on proper nutrition and scarce finances play a big part in this but this is something we can and absolutely have to remedy.

If you're not doing those five things, combined with learning a MARTIAL ART, you are fukking up.

If you live in a big city and you are doing those things are you are hustling backwards in a major way.

And for the love of all that is holy...DRINK HALF YOUR BODY WEIGHT WORTH OF WATER IN OUNCES EVERY DAY.

ex. 180 lbs means 90 Ounces of Water = 3 Liters MINIMUM

And that's if you're not working out on a constant basis...if you work out regularly, you will need even more

Black Men over 30 like I am , always need to stay in shape..

I don't Care if u walk 30 minutes a day 4 or 5 times a week

Lay off that fast food greasy pizza, burgers, et...

I know it's hard with many brothers and sisters living in the hood....

Most importantly go to the doctor every year

I was thinking this too, like how are undereducated people in the hood supposed to get truly good eating when the only things within a 1 mile radius are fast food joints and bodega food. Hell even at the local C-town the fruits and vegetables are TERRIBLE compared to the Fresh Grocer/Whole Foods that are in the white communities. shyt is all old and moldy most of the time where as in the white neighborhoods you would think they picked the strawberries that morning. shyts foul, But i bike the extra few miles to get the good shyt. Don't think the majority of my brethren are as vigilant though.

Always
I think diet is more important that fitness honestly. Can't outwork a bad diet.
Exactly. I used to be a health nut and after living "clean" for years I realized I am the most healthy when I have balance in my life. I work out a little, drink and smoke a little, fukk a lot, and remain productive. I exercise my spirit and mind too. I would like to see more minorities exercising their mental and spiritual muscles. No matter how many abs I had if my spirit wasn't aligned with my mind and emotions I felt like shyt. We act like we don't have feelings, and that's not healthy. A man has knowledge of self and that cannot be learned without emotional and spiritual exploration.

To only focus on physical form is nearsighted because the physical is the lowest vibration of one's identity. The spirit & emotions are our higher selfs, our true selfs, and the physical matters, but only because it's a part of a trilogy. And it's the final stage. Think about it brothers and sisters, it's deep. @CinnaSlim feels me.
