Yup when they think curly natural hair what they don't tell you is that they really mean this

NOT this

Then got the nerve to be talking about natural hair when most shave themselves practically bald, so that they don't have to "deal" with it. Then the ones with long natural hair are like "well I did it why can't you"? Knowing damn well that they only wore one style for 3 years, and barely touched their hair. Something people would look at women crazy for doing. It'll be "why don't you switch your style up" and "you should change your hair". Manipulation is the mortal enemy of natural hair, and when women find a low manipulation hairstyle (weave) it's a problem? Then the big elephant in the room... blacks have been told that their hair is less than, unkempt, unprofessional, and a whole other host of negative things for centuries. Of course some people are going to believe that indoctrination. But, no let's worry about women who don't wear their natural hair and make fun of them instead of doing something like educating our people and building a black economy. Oh, and all this coming from someone with natural hair. :stopitslime:

yep, but these nikkas is so deep in the one drop rule, they forgot what afro textured hair looks like. now biracial folks hair has become the status for natural black women, which does nothing but breed confusion

disgust me too

white supremacy fukked up black folks opinion of our hair, and black women fukk the overall opinion of their childrens hair.

its crazy how black men get the blame when most of yall had a grandmama or momma that was telling you your nappy hair aint shyt, while perming it and burning yall ears and necks with a damn hot comb.
Wouldn't that put the ultimate blame on white supremacy?

This is why I can't take these kinds of threads seriously. :mjlol:I think it's a joke for black women to "get," their self esteem from black men considering the majority of black men would prefer the features of Mya over the woman you posted below her.

Black women will wear their hair natural if & when they choose to.It's their own personal journey & choice.

1. If they ask you why dont you switch your style up or tell you that you should change your hair then tell them to fukk off.

2. That is what we need to make sure happens less.

3. I do agree that the making fun of approach doesnt work.
Number 1 is unrealistic for women. Most women that I know love to change their hairstyles which equals manipulation, and that equals breakage. Plus natural hair takes a lot of time, patience, and effort. Some people just unfortunately don't want to deal with it.

First thing's first, the black man has to stop worshiping girl with long silky hair.
this is like the chicken or the egg argument.

i think the responsibility is on BW to love their hair first. if a son grows up in a home where his mother and sisters are perming, wearing weaves, etc; why would he grow up and love natural hair that he hasn't seen? or when he does see natural hair, 9/10 its short and damaged? yall have to set the example for us.

fukked up part is BW will call BM gay for trying to critique their hair. getting yall to go natural as a BM is hard. it takes a WM to come along and tell y'all to love your hair before you actually do it

How is it unrealistic to refrain from a behavior that isnt beneficial to black women in the long run?

We need some discipline among our people especially when it leads to advancement of our race.
