It's literally a google search away but no problem. It's pretty widely known. I'm actually surprised this is your first time hearing it.

Christelyn Karazin's white man left her goofy ass to continue being a single mother.

Responding to the first part of the conversation, men should foster support for men. I don't understand sitting around telling each other that they don't have support. It always reads as "women should do more to support us." Support each other and get a hobby.
Someone gotta tell me what was said here that sent everyone into a doozy? Is it the messanger?

I was taught by my father since I was a baby that the only person that can help uplift a man in incredible tough times is another man. There are certain problems that women won’t be able to understand, so it takes brothers to do the job.

After listening to this video, it's kinda hard to comment on it. Those problems don't really sound geared towards Black men only. Anyway, they seem to be saying certain men are tired of tryna be there for everybody. It sounds like these are Black men who did what they thought was right, got the house, wife, kids, hobbies (such as going to events), but not really feeling no satisfaction, and feel worn out. Those issues may sound petty to somebody out her struggling financially, and can't afford housing, etc.., but when you have the Huxable family or Brady family life, and still feel empty or unfulfilled, to the point you no longer know why you're going to work everyday, then I guess that can be a very dark place. It's just that these brothers happen to be Black.

As far as race, he started of talking about how White boys get it in, and really enjoy life with their hobbies. He indicated that gives them an outlet. But in reality, an outlet doesn't necessary have to be a hobby, not the way most people view hobbies. I notice he couldn't name but one of their hobbies right off bat, which was game hunting, which descends from Esau...it figures. A lot of brothers do go on fishing trips...but hunting dear, lion, and bear heads, and hanging them over the fire place? Nah, they can have that. We have much better ways of getting it in, if we don't focus so much on what they do. All that other stuff those White boys do, can get you messed up quick. And if you do it with them, you better hope they don't make an accident outta you. The average Black person should be satisfied with a little traveling here and there, or a few concerts or a movie here and there, or and a amusement park ride once in a while, if they don't get crazy with it. As a matter of fact, I'd cross that last one out. The last time I went to Six Flags here in Atlanta, this chick wore me out walking around that park...and she was only one year younger than me! And these White kids in their late teens, kept waving at us every time we passed them on the skyscraper. But my date was having a ball, as old as we were...lol.

But anyway, as far as the video, all I'll say is once a brother get's past 55, or at least past 60, he'll start seeing a lot of those things that he thought defined manhood, really didn't. He needs to chill a little, before he burns himself out. It's a matter of getting past that stage. Unfortunately, some brothers don't.

All isn't lost. I think this is a video we should all seriously engage and then recenter the thread to have a meaningful discussion about it.

:hubie:

Have any of you tried to respectfully mend things?

Unlikely. I am not constantly DMing other men with sexual innuendos, screaming at therapists, getting into petty arguments with other men online, having issues with my dad, etc...
I mean it really don’t matter but nikka nerds like yo ur self like to throw that at other men like it actually matters. The hypocrisy of it is why I just laugh at people like you. You playing politician, double talking. Only fooling the fools.

Im going to have to humbly ask that you two gentlemen read the room. Can you possibly take this convo to the dms as it seems you two already have a history. You have strong opinions about each other, but just remember neither of you actually give a damn about each other. My recommendation is to just stop altogether. Lets use our emotional intelligence and continue the main discussion at hand. No apologies needed, and if you dont have the will to ignore each other,Nucoli has created a wonderful new feature thats one click away:respect:

Yeah they're obsessed with me so they literally follow me from thread to thread trying to derailed every conversation trying to make it about me to get my attention.

I have them blocked so I don't see it regardless.

:manny:

Some of them have been doing it for years. Imagine having a 1 sided conversation for months or years just for the chance to maybe get a response. shyt is wild.

:pachaha:

I can see it's actually starting to annoy others.

when brehs get over the anti social “I can’t trust nikkas” mentality, every suit in corporate America will start having crazy meetings. The suffering will end.

This isn’t a solo mission, no man is an island. Be community minded. Have community values. This is what Cain and Abel was about.

Myself and my own.

There was a certain level of nuance lost or omitted in the first responses to the video and notion that irked some. When said nuance is omitted in other threads and other discussions about the topic, it makes people look at the people who commented as merely existing to agitate rather than provide actual constructive comments. That and BlackPearl is a divestor who actively posts divestor content on this board, which makes her commentary even more sus.

It goes further, you see posts on here where breh's brag about smashing somebody's wife/BM, brag about finessing nikkas, or sonning them. That mentality has to go. You gotta value the next breh and his property and family. The one up and compeititive for peanuts mentality is self destructive. The throwing another man under the bus for vagina points, money, or no reason and gloating over it has to die too.

Absolutely, it’s getting old and it doesn’t work. Especially the finesse/scam shyt. And everyone has to stop being butt hurt that they can’t be the leader, but at the same time stop waiting for one messianic human to do everything

I strongly disagree with your father. Now if we are talking about only a man can empower another man,I pretty much agree with that. Which is why fathers are so important in both a son and daughters life.

Empower-make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights.

But uplift? Theres nothing greater than a woman for that role in a mans life aside from the children she gives him:wow:

Uplift-"something that makes a person feel more cheerful, positive, or optimistic."

So black women do owe it to black men to be an uplifting force. But uplifting you for what exactly? Whats the black mans plan, and whats his plan for black women? If there is none, black women in general dont owe it to us to uplift us. We are just peers and competetion in the white mans workforce. So other than your mama and wife, expect nothing from random black women. You have to become worthy and leaders to be uplifted by the women as a whole. You think black men in the civil rights era who were dying for our women, fighting for our women, had to ask the Coretta Scott Kings for more support:respect:?

What he is saying in this video is an indictment on either him or his wife though. One of you isnt doing your job. And its perfectly okay to tell your wife that,or cut her lose if she cant be that for you. Some women just have it naturally, some need to be taught having never seeing that dynamic growing up.

Im thankful for my righteous attachment. She doesnt say much because she trust Ill figure it out. And would rather not talk about it when im in a mood. She takes care of me through her actions and moreso her aura:wow:

I don’t know about this divestor business, but what nuance did her statement lack.
