In Africa it is not uncommon for a woman to independently run her own business. Women are seen with more respect even in conservative Islamic Somalia. Somalia in many ways is matriarchal, and I think any Somali can attest to that.

Women in Africa are revered and respected more than in America so I'm wondering where some of you dudes learned to hate so much?

Maybe from YOUR white daddies, bedwench ass nikkas :laff:

At the end of the day, if equality is the goal, any privilege of any group is gonna be problematic.

Instead of arguing and fighting over who has it worse, why dont people work together to fix ALL the wrongs. It's not either/or. We can focus on tackling both racism and sexism.

because all poor black women wear weave? damn marcuz.

Black male privilege at work...
Black men have the ability to define black women's beauty by European standards in terms of skin tone, hair, and body size. In comparison, black women rarely define me by European standards of beauty in terms of skin tone, hair, or body size
Black men do not have to worry about the daily hassles of having my hair conforming to any standard image of beauty the way black women does

Black men come from a tradition of humor that is based largely on insulting and disrespecting women; especially mothers
Black men have the privilege of not knowing what words and concepts like patriarchy, phallocentric, complicity, colluding, and obfuscation mean.
Black men can hear and use language such as bytches and hoes that demean women, with virtually no opposition from men
Black men have the privilege to define black women as having "an attitude" without referencing the range of attitudes that
black women have.
Black men have the privilege of believing that the failure of the black family is due to the black matriarchy.

Women initiate spousal abuse? ...
Okay
...

:whoa:

CDC Study: More Men than Women Victims of Partner Abuse

but lets pretend all spousal abuse is men hitting the woman

Anyway, aside from that disturbing post... Why should equal pay for equal work come with strings attached? One is a legal right not being met "equal pay" the other is your own societal norms.

Women still to this day get paid less to do the same exact job.

it's not about having strings attached, it's common sense. men are conditioned to pay for women. they can tear down societal norms for all i care, give them their equal pay. i just know women will be unsatisfied with the end result.

Black men have a less chance of getting hired with a degree than a white man without.

Not similar though

almost irrelevant but i understand your point -- and black men with a degree will still have a harder time finding employment over a white woman with a GED. so where's the black male privilege?

What media institutions do Black men own to do this?

Ask any BM about having dreads braids or a fro in the workplace

Black men do not have to worry about the daily hassles of having my hair conforming to any standard image of beauty the way black women does prove it

Black men come from a tradition of humor that is based largely on insulting and disrespecting women; especially mothers not a privilege
Black men have the privilege of not knowing what words and concepts like patriarchy, phallocentric, complicity, colluding, and obfuscation mean. doesnt even make sense but especially not a privilege
Black men can hear and use language such as bytches and hoes that demean women, with virtually no opposition from men not a privilege, and women use the same words to insult men
Black men have the privilege to define black women as having "an attitude" without referencing the range of attitudes that
black women have. doesn't make sense and its still not a privilege
Black men have the privilege of believing that the failure of the black family is due to the black matriarchy. the failure of the black family is due to white supremacy, but the feminist matriarchal lifestyle sealed the coffin. oh, and NOT a privilege.
