Because this is the philosophy a lot of women in the community choose to embrace. Many of the words that come out of their mouths and the actions they undertake are directly from the feminist handbook.

A lot of black men ARE prepared to lead the black family.
a few but not many.
what is to become of those that arent prepared?
and the women who dont have a prepared man in their lives?
we know what the problem is, when are we going to get to the solutions?
you think those problems magically arose when that woman showed up?

you think the CIA is to blame for black men not valuing black women?
if you knew your history you would know this debate has be going on since WEB Dubois was alive.
the real isssue is you guys dont value black women.
you want to rule the community but not share any blame for its down turn.
you want traditional gender roles but cant provide or lead a family.
you want Patriachy but you dont want to be required to be men.

Please explain to me how black men don't 'value black women' when the majority of black women are married to black men

explain how we aren't taking blame when we call out the male losers of the community, and yet women still willingly procreate with those losers.

From 2008 til now

BW's unemployment rate stayed at 10 %
Meanwhile, BM's unemployment rate ballooned to 18% and only as of last month got back down to 11%

Please be accurate

Not what my numbers say. Where is your source?

we discussed this already, its because you think your education and career behind a desk will earn more money than a black man that's doing electrical work, or contracting, or plumbing. which is why y'all should get your head out of your asses about these damn degrees.

how is that examples of patriarchy? i'm still waiting here

Your excuse would work so much better if those were actually the jobs that Black men were getting in number, or the training they were getting. But thank you for admitting work that associated with men tends to be paid more. Another example of the male privilege.

so are we weak men that cant even lead ourselves, much less a family; or are we controlling the black community with an iron fist because we have all this power. which is it, nas :bryan:
you either wont or can not answer my queston.
they are leading, yes. in the right direction, no.
black men are literally the voice of the community.
what the do with their power is what gives me pause.

are you an idiot? do you think y'all working behind an air conditioned desk doing busy work warrants the same pay as men that are actually out there working?

its crazy how privileged women are. men out here getting paid to do the real dirty jobs that allow women to live in comfort, while y'all stick your nose up at them like they should get paid slave wages.

And what is this post I've been 'ducking'?

:dead: at you pretending like you don't see it, or like you didn't get that notification the two times I quoted you with it separately. I'm still gonna repost though.

You and several men in this thread and in most others concerning relationships say unflinchingly and unabashedly that women should submit to men. That men should, by virtue of just being born men, be allowed to lord over women. That men, just by virtue of being born men, are naturally more logical and better equipped to lead. Let's not even talk about how similar that is to racism. Lets just think about how can you live in a society where that thought process exists unchallenged and claim that it is not patriarchal? :mindblown:

Make no mistake, if Black men weren't abandoning their families this is exactly what would be happening, right or wrong (wrong, imo). The Black family in America has never really been stable long enough for the vast majority of common Black women to un-romanticize patriarchy. So the majority of Black women are still themselves quite patriarchal in thinking, despite having the absolute least to gain from it in comparison to all other women.

For all the complaining you all do about Black feminism, we are few and far in between in the Black community. As of now, our numbers are only growing because of the pure unadulterated vitriol common Black women started noticing coming from Black men on social media/in entertainment and then reinforced in their everyday lives.

In response to you lie that patriarchy doesn't exist in the Black community.

You mean tasks that can be and are increasingly done by machinery should be paid more than ones that require actual human intellect, which cannot ever be replaced by machinery? Tell us why you're really stupid, breh.

Oh and please show your source that these "real jobs" where men are "actually out here working" are the ones that Black men are obtaining (hint: they're not) to explain the wage and employment imbalance between Black men and Black women?

edit: Oh and please respond to the rest of the privileges I had in that post. Don't continue to cut them out so that you can pretend later thats the only one we ever gave.

how are black men leading when they're not even in the homes? you already acknowledged black men aren't in a position to lead, so no reason to backtrack now.

how are black men the voice of the community? give specific examples of black men yielding power in the community.

this type of lack of respect for real work and the men who do it to maintain YOUR lifestyle will bite women in the ass. before you get to sit at your desk, in a heated office. men have to build all of that shyt first -- and guess what, they're probably making more money than you as well.

Patriarchy isn't a problem. The black community is a matriarchy and we see where that's leading us. White supremacy IS a problem. These NY feminists can't even handle being complimented while walking down the street because they are scared. Please tell me how they will stand up to men with assault rifles who are trained and ready to kill come war time? You feminists claim you want to overthrow the patriarchy and yet you will have no one to protect you when things get serious.

And that's YOU who are making the assumption that women should procreate with men who aren't fit to lead. I've stated OVER and OVER that women need to assess the characteristics of the man they are with before they procreate with him. Do NOT sleep with men who have children sprinkled all over town. Do NOT procreate with men who are living a criminal lifestyle and are one police encounter away from the jail cell. That's holding men accountable. I can tell men to step up over and over again, but they won't listen as long as women keep rewarding them with sex. It's not hard to figure out. Men, step up. I said it. Now how about you take accountability and tell women to keep their legs closed when it comes to such men?
