why are yall so obsessed with feminism?
do you think black men are prepared to lead the black family? yes or no?

Because this is the philosophy a lot of women in the community choose to embrace. Many of the words that come out of their mouths and the actions they undertake are directly from the feminist handbook.

A lot of black men ARE prepared to lead the black family.

who cares, :what: change it to going to a job interview and the results would be the same. now stop tap dancing and answer the question

No, actually, it wouldn't. Because Black men's unemployment rate is very comparable to Black women's despite Black women earning far more degrees. You are discriminated against when it comes to non-Blacks for employment sure. But when it comes to Black women? No. In fact if there wasn't sexism/racism at play disadvantaging Black women, our rates would be a lot lower than your own.

give me examples of black males being privileged. better yet, give me examples of BM having POWER in the community.

When you wrote this did you realize how nonsensical it was?

Poor whites with no power receive preferential treatment from a white system. But poor Black men with no power somehow don't benefit from a system of patriarchy? :dahell:

Despite the fact that you have repeatedly admitted they earn more than Black women, despite having less education? :dahell:

Not to mention that Black men have more wealth than Black women, are in more positions of power in corporations and in politics than Black women, are the most notable current community leaders, are held as the most notable historical leaders, and don't have limits placed on them, including on their intellectual capacity, based on their gender.

And that list isn't even as long as it could be

Here is a snippet from that article. There is a lot more at the link
you think the CIA is to blame for black men not valuing black women?
if you knew your history you would know this debate has be going on since WEB Dubois was alive.
the real isssue is you guys dont value black women.
you want to rule the community but not share any blame for its down turn.
you want traditional gender roles but cant provide or lead a family.
you want Patriachy but you dont want to be required to be men.

Because Black men's unemployment rate is very comparable to Black women's despite Black women earning far more degrees.

From 2008 til now

BW's unemployment rate stayed at 10 %
Meanwhile, BM's unemployment rate ballooned to 18% and only as of last month got back down to 11%

Please be accurate

lol @ Gloria Steinem being a Black feminist.

Have a problem with Black feminism but when you have the chance to debate the topic with a Black feminist, be too shook to challenge her posts head on brehs.

we discussed this already, its because you think your education and career behind a desk will earn more money than a black man that's doing electrical work, or contracting, or plumbing. which is why y'all should get your head out of your asses about these damn degrees.

how is that examples of patriarchy? i'm still waiting here

No one in this thread said Gloria Steinem was black. Gloria Steinem was JEWISH and she was a gov agent... and yet this is who black feminists partnered with to get their solutions on life.

black men having more wealth or in certain token positions does not equate patriarchy. most of these people you'd cite are more than likely living in some white boys patriarchy. if you want to pretend we all these high ranking blacks controlling black neighborhoods, be my guest.

and let women tell it, y'all are at the forefront of all community issues. who are all these black community leaders you speak of?

stop tap dancing and give me examples of black men having power in black communities. go
its been posted several times. we are literally talking in circles here.
idgaf about which gender ids more privileged under white supremacy.
you would be a lie to say maleness isnt privileged in the black community, its pretty much the only requirement. how else are all these fukkboys getting all these women?
i care about who will lead us into a better tomorrow.i know for damn sure any "man" who doesnt take responsibility for the downfall of the community and his family in particular is no man that should be given the reins.
how can you want patriarchy when majority of black men cant lead themselves, much less a family, or community.

Oh ok. Now respond to the post you've been ducking the past hour. Once you do that I will kill this particular Gloria Steinem argument too.

so are we weak men that cant even lead ourselves, much less a family; or are we controlling the black community with an iron fist because we have all this power. which is it, nas :bryan:
