I love this. Too often, black people want to get an education in order to get a "good job" to only serve themselves. But this man is using his position to at least help his people have a fair trial....in his courtroom at least. Most others would have sat idly by in the hopes of not rocking the boat to keep said "good job."
People like this deserve to be commended publicly for such acts of bravery. In the face of possible consequence.
We need black police officers, attorneys and judges who are unafraid to challenge the status quo like this man. We already have plenty of each who just go along to get along....even when they see black people being brutalized by the very institutions which employ them.
