Yeah you can definitely see the drop off. It's hard for any show to maintain quality for 5 years, especially when you have young kids growing up like you said. Watch Devante be 5 next season

. Also, bringing in long lost family members is always a sign that the end is near. That last episode had a level of finality to it, like they weren't sure if they would be back for another season. I agree about the gap year. That is definitely more of a Zoe move (she might be taking an involuntary one soon based on the first half of Grownish). Junior has been this "by the book" geek all these years now he's dropping out of school, playing the field and shackin up with broads

. Why did he have to go to Howard. They could have had him and USC or any of those California schools and he could commute or live closer to home. I am interested to see where they go with season 6. Love the show, but honestly how many more "it's like this for black people" storylines can you muster?
