Ya'll hating on Frederick Douglass now? :banderas:

Yup...

Cheikh Anta Diop, James Farmer, and Jack Johnson too...

The irony is that we shun the opinions of blacks who marry outside of their race, but gleefully take the dollars and guidance from white corporations and blindly assume they have our best interest.....What type of troubled mindstate is that?

So Black girls can't code? If you teach both genders, how are Black girls that code supposed to show they are strong? Misogynists.

I show love to anybody who loves me for who I am, as long as it's a fit healthy woman. Race, color, creed, doesn't matter

Then how about a black man start black boys code?

The fukked up part is that if women were teaching black boys how to code that would be another issue.

Exactly, these nikkas is full of shyt and just wanna complain. :heh:
There's more then enough resources to start up a "Black Boys Code" or even a trade program(carpentry; electrical, etc), but they just wanna throw shot at these ladies.
That's why I fukks heavily for those who are actually about it, like @bdizzle @Y2kDre and @Blackking :salute:

I won't praise nothing that is not going to truly help my Community. We already see black girls outpacing black boys when it comes to going to college. For years we've Been hearing black women scream they can't find a black man on their level. But yet people are still supporting black girl only programs .

Contact activists in your community; along with churches, youth centers and state your agenda.
New laptops can be had for $1000 or less, a decent sized rental space(that holds 50 or so people) can be probably be attained for $5000/month. If you get five laptops; decent internet; utility bills, 1-2 tutors, and rent could all be had $10 - $18k for the first month(purchasing laptops; internet, etc) then $13 k for subsequent months. $18,000 split up among 400 people is $45 per person, that's a half tank of gas right there.

Keep in mind, this is without sponsors(big companies), so the cost could be most cheaper. Not too mention, you may get grants to pull this off. You can actually seek to do what you're complaining about, or sit here and bytch about how "Black Girls Code" is some bull. :ld:

Not really...But this is the coli, so carry on

Actions speak louder than words though, you can speak about the black community/black families/black children all day long but if your yourself didn't have the courage to create a healthy one what's the point? Again its a personal decision to procreate outside your race, but assimilation challenges nobody

Who you marry is one the most important decision a person makes in life, so yea the person you choice does reflect your values, priorities and allegiances because at the end of that day that's who you choose to protect and provide for...

I don't believe in this "I don't see race", we "live in a post racial society" nonsense

Im sorry but this post doesnt follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Are you a Christian? Caring comes from the heart, your soul friend, not in your skin color.

But you champion black girls code which is powered and guided by corporate dollars? :mindblown:

And if someone happens to marry outside of their race, how does that effect values and character traits like loyalty, honor, nobility, a love for GOD, or just things in general that any strong brother should espouse..Please explain to me how all that is mitigated once he says I do to an Asian, Latina, White, etc....?

No doubt that woman has ties with Black feminists, who are run by CACs. A CAC is at the top of the hierarchy with alot of these "Black girl" programs.

Support empowering the women and oppressing the men brehs.

Outside @lovelydays window
I'm glad we're getting young black kids into computers but something doesn't sit right with me. The boys in our community need the most but they get the least. Now I understand that more men should be stepping up but it just isn't happening but that should never be an excuse for letting our boys fall behind while we push the girls ahead.

The idea was that of black woman, but the dollars that run it are white...So who really runs it?....I like the idea in theory, but lets keep it funky....

The website isn't even HTML 5, which is a red flag off the top since this a non profit org geared towards coding...

The curriculum that they provide is not listed on the front page, nor do I see any success stories or blogs about any of the young ladies who may be succeeding or developing interesting projects.....

But what I do see off the top is a listing for events and how to make donations........I hope this sister is not using these young ladies for a non profit money grab....cause it happens all the time.....
