the hip-hop generation CANNOT and WILL NOT produce any leaders. Hip-hop right now is lead by a bunch of drug dealing agents sent out to destroy the black community. The worse and ignorant they are, the higher in they get in ranks in the hip-hop world. Take a look at curtis for example. he's grown up and wiser now but the hiphop audience doesn't look at his philanthropy resume. they want him to go back to rapping about ignorance about killing people and selling drugs. He's been replaced by future and other smaller ignorant rappers. a&r's who sign these ignorant rappers eventually wake up and can't leave with themselves and kill themselves. edit: steve stoute.

the black community cannot produce leaders. that's harsh because they say necessity is the mother of invention and at these times you'd think a black leader could emerge or be followed but it can't happen or isn't happening. there are black leaders like cornel west, farakhan etc... but the mainstream media which we are so fixated at watching Love and HIPHOP on BET have you thinking they are enemy..
Things could be so bad outside but the media calms and controls ppl so no real revolution can happen...

besides, the urban environment which is where the black community resides is not a suitable environment for anything revolutionary. the urban environment is noisy, violent, fast, congested, crime infested. it's not an environment to spark anything creative other than make beats on fruity loops.
