I don't deflect anything. I simply state facts. I want to know when I've stayed the bolded. As for the "twitter feminists" they have been behind almost every major police brutality protest as of late. You all taking a few quotes from some who date white males doesn't change that.

Yeah ok sure :mjlol: I been on this board long enough and notice a few posters patterns, if I and other people can see you and @Yup constant posts about black men this and black men that, then the proof is in the pudding. And yeah it's easy to be behind a police brutality protest online :russ: wouldn't that make us all behind it as well?

where would the black feminist movement be if black women were held in the same esteem sexually by white men as say, asian women? :sas2:

i can agree that, i firmly believe the black feminist movement is a way for primarily sheltered, middle-class black women to manifest their insecurities as being undesired as WOMEN by white men. you become quite cognizant of your race when you realize its the primary reason you are unable to integrate and miscegenate. its like teenage angst, and the black man is who that angst is directed toward :skip:

practically every "black feminist" i knew at my school typically went through the following:

1) over-compensating to appease white people
2) realization that this isn't feasible... anger that black dudes would date out
3) cue emotional, reactive stage... realization of melanin content. cue angry facebook/twitter activism. they also go natural at this stage
4) by the law of averages, :upsetfavre: comes along, she's :queen: and she can :mjpls: happily ever after til brad drops the n-bomb.

it goes without sayin that this isn't reflective of all black women, but the subset we harping on is full of it.

REP THIS MAN!!!!!

Did you not read the protest portion of that statement. I'm talking about them organizing and attending those protests. :what: That statement has nothing to do with the statement that I bolded.

Society currently teaches women to value themselves by comparing their self image to models and stereotypes portrayed by television and magazines. Because of this, many girls grow up hating themselves because they are different from what society sees as ‘beautiful’.

So when they get with a white man, they view it as someone from the dominate culture confirming blacks women's beauty.

You hit the nail right on the head and the irony of your statement is this is same exact bullshyt that Black women say when they see a successful Black man who dates or is married to a White woman. So in reality Black women can talk out of both sides of their two faces at the same time.

Black men as usual don't give a damn one way or the other, because it is not our business.

you're trying to say that these same black feminists this thread is referring to are the same black feminists that are putting in work in the community, which is far from truth, the women putting in work are black women fighting for black men and black women. But I'm done here, no need to debate with someone who lives off of deflection issues instead of coming to conclusions

Like I said many times before I have no vendetta against interracial dating. It would be hypocritical of me if I did since I HAVE dated interracially(though I still prefer black women). I don't care if black women date white men as I have no control over that nor do I care.

But the problem I have with black women who solely date white men is WHY CANT IT EVER BE FOR JUST LIKING THE GOD DAMN PERSON! Seriously with someone of these interracial black women, especially the feminist it seems like their always has to be an agenda for why they're dating their white knight. It always has o do with politics, bitterness, hate, classism, self-hate, revenge, trying to prove a point, etc. Seriously its hardly if ever anything to do with "true love". A c00n black males reason for only dating WW is usually just self hate, but with a bedwench wanting to date white men only its MUCH MORE...

No offense to normal BW, and I'm only addressing these extremist black "feminist", they have this delusion that they are wanted by white men, but the cold reality is that they are FAR down the list of what the average white male wants. This is the supreme beauty for WHITE men...

And when it comes to dating outside their face this is what WHITE men WANT!

Black women do NOT fit either of these fantasies for white men... I'm sorry this is a fact.

PS: I'd grown tired if hearing the myth out there's hardly any good black men. Its just an excuse. I mean for the love of god JUST SAY YOU PREFER WHITE MEN AND BE DONE WITH IT!

No this thread is about me pointing out that a lot of Black women are two faced. Black women go on and on about successful Black men and athletes dating White women. However, you never hear a peep out of Black women when Serena and Venus Williams date White men. You never hear Black women lament that Vanessa Williams, Diana Ross, Dorothy Dandridge and Halle Barry etc., date and marry White men. But let Denzel Washington marry a White woman and then Black women won't shut the fukk up about it.

You don't hear Black men say anything about it one way or the other, because it is not our business.

Because I know a majority of the progressive people here in Dade, from the Dream Defenders, the YPN, Roots collective, etc. The black women that are involved in the community ain't with the feminist movement, one can be for sisterhood without being a feminist, I'm for the betterment of Black Queens but no one would say I'm a feminist, the black women down here putting in work are for the betterment of black men and women
But why all the grand generalizations though? The basic definition of feminism is the advocacy of womens' rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men. Let's say these black women that you know mentor and guide low income black girls in high school (like myself), they are practicing feminism. You not liking the nazi's of the group doesn't change that.
Black girls who grow up in poverty not only face racial barriers but also many hardships due to their sex. A black girl growing up in poverty more than likely has no one to turn to and without proper guidance ends of a statistic. These countless girls are victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking that often times result in low appreciation of self. They turn to the street nikkas and dope boys for love and security who just treat them like cum dumpsters and next thing you know you have an out of wedlock baby starting the cycle all over again. The father more than likely will be part of the system well before the age of 18 which will then perpetuate a life of unemployment and the woman will become your welfare queen baby momma. This vicious domino effect is part of the reason we as a race are so low politically, socially, and economically.
So when I decide to take on a group of women to teach them about black pride and respectability, to make sure they are meeting their graduation requirements, to have them engage in self-esteem activities, to help them cope with childhood trauma, to take them shopping for clothes that is presentable, to help them with their resumes and job searches, to engage them and teach them how to become leaders in the community, I am not only bettering black women, I am practicing black feminism.
The only people who have a problem with this are people who refuse to look at the true concept of black feminism and would rather look at the extremists and crazys as scapegoats. I am nothing like those keyboard activists but I unfortunately have to constantly walk in fear of retaliation and mockery from black men bc I choose to identify myself as a black feminist.
It is not okay to generalize all black men so why is it okay in this case?
