They had no problem using actual black men as actors, but every single female character was light/mixed. I won't even discuss the disturbing colorism in Nollywood.

I agree but also people need parents or somebody to teach them better self esteem. Also maybe some people really just aren't attractive it happens and they just trying to use the I'm black stuff as a weak cop out. I just really hate hearing/seeing grown people talk about how everybody isn't fawning over them basically get over yourself

This is not appropriation this is cultural assimilation.
