Mixed is mixed, regardless of who the mother is. I have a problem with those who play both sides of the fence but I have no dog in this fight.

I stick up for black men and women though. It's just funny seeing black men in this thread not doing the same like @Will Ross. They don't see our issues.

I'm all for the media to stop degrading black women image on the media.

But I'm not for complaining to white men on why they are promoting they're women with black features and not bw.

It's not they're job or responsibility to do that.

White women are free to co-op features and styles seen on black women because number one they are the default and number 2 they are stigmatized a "pure" "chaste" and "innocent". A big booty on a white woman is not sexualized in same manner as it is on a black woman. I see the undertone even on this board with black men and this PAWG movement. Just look at how the members comment on black women with ass and then white women with ass. Much more harsh comments and men liking black females to beast and animals.

So when black women "co-op" "white" features and styles, how are they perceived and how are they looking to be perceived?

Confused by your logic. You're claiming white women want these features in order to be considered more sexually attractive then claiming the features don't make them more sexually attractive?

You're also claiming that white women aren't sexualized in the same manner as black women (whatever that means), now that's hilarious.

Opinion pieces like this seem to serve naught but to attempt to persuade a certain race to acquiesce to black beauty standards. They shouldn't, and frankly I am long past caring about what the average twitter cac thinks. There are better ways to fix this (self esteem issues) that are, thankfully, picking up steam. Black girls rock was nice, and so is Tumblrs 'blackout', Michael may be labeled creepy, but perhaps that 'beauty of everyday black women' thread raised someones self esteem.

I am in the interest of freeing my black brothers from their poisonous mindsets, an affect of imperialism, so that they can appreciate black beauty.

Am I wrong in not thinking fondly of a black woman in antebellum (I believe, if not that than some other whitewashed bullshyt) fashion, yelling out to -something- about eurocentric standards of beauty, and their effects on black women?
